Agree with a lot of what you say Bush, if things get worse the will step in as one sided matches ruins their brand and has dollar affects in TV rights etc. If they step in the next coach will either be Sheedy who is a great marketing man and whilst not bringing us to a Premiership he will get us competative. On the other hand Roos is well liked in AFL circles and this is also a road they could go down. Whatever the outcome the AFL involvement will mean Schwab moves on as there is no way Sheedy or Roos would work with him. In regard to the MCG no way I will take games at boutique stadiums against Meth Coast, Port, Brisbane etc but only 2 a year, 2 in Darwin and all other home games must be played at our home. Hopefully we will turn it around and sort ourselves out

Its not that easy Stuie, players like Judd, Watson, Ablett, Swan, Cousins, Harvey, Cotchin, Pendlebury and others of that ilk just run all day and work that hard they break their Tag. That is what makes them great players. Having said that still no excuses for the amount of room their players were given

Just reread this whilst responding to Jumbo's reply and realised I left Blease out FMD when I am talking about run he has to be in, you could take a gamble and forget Sellar as back up or unfortunatley for Terlich who was okay he may have to miss out for match ups

Watts when moved forward made a lead which looked natural and left Fletcher for dead, he dropped the mark but would put that down to confidence, once Dawes comes in Watts can play off a flank ideally but for know say Jack you've got two weeks see how it goes Who knows Run, Run, Run may not work but it's something different

Confidence is currently at a very low ebb and the game plan isn't working becuase we can't get our hands on the ball or at least with low confidence the players really don't want the ball. IMO maybe be best to revert with a run and carry style whilst our back are against the wall. Play as many running players as we can and allow for Meth Coasts big forward line by playing Chippy, Garland & Pedersen as back up ruck/defence. IMO Neeld needs to bring in runners and rotate them through the middle and get the interchange rotations up to a record amount, Bail, Viney, Trenners, Sylvia, Jones x 2, Howe, Tapscott, Kent, Evans & Jetta as many as we can fit in and rotate through the middle constantly. Mckenzie if fit goes to shut down Scott Selwood, Bail can run with Shuey. A rabbit out the hat against Meth Coast to spring surprise play on as often as we can. With Nic Nat out Cox is unable to spend as much time up forward and has been outdone in the last two outings by guys at centre bounces who have been to mobile for him. I do not want to get rid of Neeld at this stage, we are into a rebuild and have been for 12 months, changing the coach will do nothing between now and the end of the season. I say he has till round 6. His game plan - well what is it how would we know we are getting killed at the clearances and can't get our hands on the ball so it's hard to see what the game plan is when you have so little of the ball. Natanui will not play for at least another 6 weeks, Cox has been beaten by younger more agile ruckman in the first two games this year. Seems to have lost a bit of his leap and is relying on big body and muscle, where he is dangerous is up forward, another reason Gillies has to be dropped because Cox would do exactly what Bellchambers did last night. Listened to SEN Auskick show this morning and two kids Jacob & Connor two young Dees discussing last nights game. They were disappointed and asked if they would continue to follow the Dees, they both shot back with of course we will be there next week because you never change teams. Cant sack a coach at Round 2 it wont and shouldn't happen. Could see how he was hurting tonight, he made plenty of moves but nothing worked. Lots of soul searching this week, his crack at the big gig is falling apart so he and the player group need to work it out. Not saying he will see out the season but just can't sack him after Round 2. Others in the club need to go first
