I agree old dee we are heading down the US track very quickly. Grand Finals will soon be for the rich and a select few. As an interstate member I make 2 to 3 games a year at the G and the Subi games. I go and watch junior footy/wafl colts every weekend and local footy on Saturday. Love my Amateur footy in a Saturday arvo with a group of mates and our kids can't beat $4 beers. The AFL needs to be careful pricing out the regular punter and killing the goose who laid the golden egg

I'm in the same boat as you old dee. Oldest born in 2006 and the youngest the year after. Talk about bad timing lost both to Pies and Hawks. As you say life goes on I'm just happy they have an interest in the sport and they share in my hatred for Meth Coast. They like their mother (Blues) all paid up Dees members

He had no impact against Peel when they had their full compliment of defenders in the side. He was ineffective against them in 2016 & 2017 which is why as I've said in other threads I have my doubts on him. Most Meth Coast supporters are wetting themselves because they have never actually seen him live. We know what their supporter base is like and they have no time for the WAFL. Anything they know anout him is based on his highlights, the Meth Coast Australian, 6PR and Channel 7 pumping him up.

The defence just improved dramatically with a) biggest deficiency - namely lack of intercept marker to rebound is now covered b) Hibberd no longer has to float across as third man up and can now provide greater attacking penetration with his ball use c) The domino effect with Lever and Hibberd reduces the accountability on Hunt and allows him to run and carry more d ) Bernie Vince can now solely be used at what he now does best when match ups require it -Tag 2. The deal getting done early is clearly showing we are not done yet and have other moves in the pipeline 3. With the anticipated 2nd rounder coming for Watts we will have 3 x 2nd rounders. 4.
