Yes. If a trade breaks down, the player has a few options. (With examples) 1. National Draft. (Luke Ball to Collingwood) 2. Pre Season Draft. (Nick Stevens to Carlton) 3. Sign with current club. (Dustin Martin potential move to GWS) 4. Delisted / Retire. Mal Michael retired and was then drafted in the preseason draft by Essendon. This resulted in Brisbane being shafted without any compensation. Pretty sure the delisted free agency rules were written with this in mind and the player cannot be signed as a free agent if there was a contract offered by the current club. Happy to be proven wrong on the last point.

What a [censored].

Jones, Vince, Lewis, Garlett, Melkshem and Hibberd have all played in at least 1 final.

You can kick someone in the head, but have to be careful when tackling a player to ensure that their head doesnt hit the ground. Redpath. 3 weeks, what a joke. Ollie Wines escapes with a fine. Bizarre game.

'the'? Lets not pretend its the only one.

They mentioned it. But yes, I fully agree; it's common sense. Demon's score less points when missing lots of players. No sh!t.
-
TMac should have just stayed at the scoring end of the ground the entire game. Like Nasher, I was at the ground and thought Lewis played well. There was a demon supporter behind me who shouted out '[censored] off back to Hawthorn Lewis!' so maybe I missed the bad things

It was my first time to the ground in over a decade. Truly terrible. I thought I would be getting good seats for the price I paid. I couldn't see [censored] when the play wasn't in front of me. usually this is ok as you can watch a big screen, but they were so far away and the image wasn't zoomed in so it was basically the same view as the one from my seat. Food was terrible and stone cold. I have had much better food at local footy. Only having cubicles for toilets made the lines huge. Bizare choice not to have some urinals. Great to see staff checking bags when walking into the ground. But only if you walk near the tables where they are checking. Heaps of people walking straight through the middle without getting checked. 20 buses ready to go when the game was over. They decided to load them up one bus at a time in single file.

I was at the game. Gutted. Yeah their were some bad umpire calls but we didn't look like winning it. People were pumping up ANB last week. Well let me tell you, his decision making and execution today was shocking. Didn't see Hannan get near anything. Hunt was quiet. So so funny. Took my mum for her first game of AFL footy. She said Jack Watts was sh!t.

Canterbury league makes almost 75 mil. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/sport/2017/apr/03/nrl-clubs-and-poker-machines-is-there-not-another-way-to-raise-funds

Agreed. The majority of us on here were all for tanking. There were very few who opposed it.
-
I couldnt work out if you were serious. You obviously hate him. Yet think he would be good in our team. Then the vomit bit on the end made me think maybe it was a joke. I would rather go for the big fish or nothing really. I want a player who will be in our top 10 players.
-
Is this a joke?

Swans: Geelong, Freo, Adelaide, Carlton Hawks: Richmond, North, Carlton, Bulldogs Swans currently on 10 wins, Hawks on 7. Hawks have a terrible percentage, they would have to win all games and could still miss out on percentage. Swans should still make it unless they implode.

Tyson was rusty. He bombed to ball to the top of the square a few times. It was the wrong kick at the time as he had time to find a better option. It was his first game back after injury and he wasn't as bad as people are making out. Watts was also rusty, but he was well done on output and lacked effort at the contest. In hindsight he shouldn't have played but we got away with it. Both will be much better for the run which is what I am getting excited about. Hogan was down on form the last few weeks and has found it again. Max has been well below par but bounced back again this week. (Injury clearly restricted him in the 2nd half) We are nearly back to full strength. This week we got a win over a good team while still having a few players underdone and coming back from Darwin. [censored] enjoy it you peanuts.

I would be really really happy just for a win. We were challenged. When they kicked the first 2 in the last quarter I started to get very worried. A team like the Hawks would know how to slow the play down and make time their enemy, I thought we didn't have the skills or experience to do it. But we did! I cant remember the last time we calmly shut the game down like that. Great work team! So proud of the boys today!

He is walking the bench

Loved him. But he left. No way you get a mascot named after you if you left.

I feel like this should carry some weight, but I can't remember a time that Barrett was ever correct about these sort of things.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
BAMF replied to ignition.'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Were you talking to me? I can't work out who you are responding to. -
Don't forget that its in Darwin where they have never had to deal with a dislocated shoulder before. They don't even have pillows.
