Is it confirmed that it's home sickness? The announcement that he was returning home to Victoria indefinitely from Freo only mentioned that he was returning for personal reasons and would not comment further. Without a doubt I would pick him up for a fourth rounder if it was just home sickness.

Casboult? Am I missing something here? (Pun intended) If we get Motlop as a free agent I would say yes. Has speed and can rotate through the outside miss and forward line. Can go missing but I would take the risk for a free agent.

To be fair, I don't think an interview would have changed BP's mind one little bit. Scully and Trengove were the obvious choices at the time. But having the chance to draft the best 2 kids in the country and not even bothering to interview a candidate shows how inept BP was. If you do not do your due diligence with pick 1 and 2 then what is the care factor with later picks?

It was obvious to BP. He didnt even bother to interview Dustin Martin.

They had Roughead and Boyd all year who could play in the ruck. We dont have anyone. Our tall forwards play ruck to try and compete and while they are doing a decent job with their lack of height, its nowhere good enough and also completly ruins our forward structure. We get detroyed when we try to bomb it into our forward line because we have no proper key forward. This creates uncertainty for our mids which leads to over using it and being tackled. We have no behemoth waiting down the wing for that quick release out of defence. Instead, we see thiers and have to work something else out. Often we kick it that way anyway and hope we can spoil it over the line.We are forced to play Weiderman when he is clearly no where near ready, Its [censored] our structure completly. .
