  1. Popular place then.
  2. I'm back again. Hope my luck continues. Team Name: Johnny Utah.
  3. Love it. Nothing will be better than our home jumper, and I still prefer the red back but this is just so much better than any white one we have had. Particuly the bali knock off from last year which was horrendous. I do have a soft spot for our original red clash jumper but understand that it will not solve all the problems. Also would be a fan of an inverted home top with mainly red with a navy yoke. Even if the yolk was more of a traditional V. Much like the kangaroos new clash strip except red with a blue V. North fans got to vote on their clash and chose the below.
  4. We are keeping the red back for away games vs Bulldogs and West Coast.
  5. Awesome. Common sense prevails! Looks great. Love it. No more white ever again. No more angry batman demon top. No more Bali knockoff! Great work.
  6. Demons finish top 4.
  7. MFCSS gone mad.
  8. Edit: Changed my mind. Couldn't be bothered escalating. Enjoy 2018!
  9. Its a shame many of our supporters are. Not sure if the club was this way to start with and they were naturally drawn to it, or if the negative supporters have slowly etched their way into the club and bought it down to the station they want it at. Either way, its pathetic. Have some optimism you fools. We have done the hard yards an finally look ready to my make our mark. Stop finding ways to pot the club you pathetic low lives.
  10. Just outside for me. But how often have we ever fielded our best 22? He will be in the mix if available. Vince will likely play 8 - 15 games in what will be his final year. Plus, he has excellent form when it comes to tagging Dangerfield. So why not?
  11. 1) Viney head to head Joel Selwood 2) Vince tags Dangerfield 3) Jones head to head Ablett 4) Scott Selwood tags Oliver My god. That would be great.
  12. I'm loving the photos from training at the moment. Our players are looking in great shape. A lot of them look like they have taken the next step. I have a good feeling about Harmes for some reason. We are in for a couple of really good year I think. A few players are really going to start stepping up now that they have passed (about to pass) that 50 game mark.
  13. How will we ever cope with other supporters giving us grief?
  14. Oh good. I thought that negative supporters might bring it up after every loss we have. Guess that won't happen now.
  15. Your like a pig in [censored] when something negative happens, aren't you?
  16. He will be back soon. its not serious. (I dont know anything)
  17. The boot camp has everything to do with it. If someone asked you to challenge yourself by jumping off a 20 story building, would you do it? Of course not. But now you have 'flubbed' it. Good one. We needed you to challenge yourself by doing something stupid and you 'flubbed' it. This is an extreme example, but the players thought that the camp could expose them to injury. The boot camp has everything to do with it. Funny. I have been thinking the same thing about the people over reacting to this. Some of the comments relating to this are hysterical. Some people have written off the season already. Some are saying that the coach is no good. I think a lot of supporters are simply soft losers who are waiting to get beaten so they can complain about it and continue their sorry lives of playing the victim. Some people are upset because supporters from other clubs are giving them a bit of grief. Really? Get a grip. Tell them to get stuffed. I have copped my fair share of [censored] over the years and copped in on the chin. Now that we are on the way back up, I don't take any [censored]. I assume I am included in this? Why would I put myself through this when a close friend has told me how bad it was? Others on this site have told me the same thing. Pretty sure it was you and STMJ who were the only ones who said they got anything out of it. I'm still entitled to have my opinion. Its like me telling you that your opinion isn't valid on here because you haven't played footy at AFL level. Love your last sentence.
  18. Didn't follow instructions? While sleep deprived? who would have thought? To be fair we don't know if there were instructions or not or if the sleep deprivation part occurred at that part of the camp. The sleep deprivation thing is such a heap of horse [censored]. More and more research has been done over the years and missing sleep is a stupid thing to do. A number of posters last year pointed out how stupid these camps were. A close mate did one about 8 years ago and had staff yelling at him to push through the pain to finish a 25km loaded march. Once he finished he took his boots off and his feat were wrecked. Blisters so bad he could only wear thongs for the next 2 weeks while they healed. He said he got off lightly compared to a few of the others in his team.
  19. Yeah, its exactly the same! I dont know what people are talking about. Bricks fall on peoples heads all the time at Goschs paddock.
  20. Supercoach has always been the better scoring system in my opinion. It now correlates directly to the official AFL Champion Data points system. Therefore, you get more points for those clutch moments. A set shot goal kicked when you are 2 points down with 5 minutes to go gets more points than kicking a goal while you are 50 points up. @CBDees you should keep an eye out at the start of next season for the Fantasy Footy board. http://demonland.com/forums/forum/34-fantasy-footy/ There is a guy on here @DeeVoted who does an excellent job setting all the leagues up for Supercoach. I'm sure there will be a league for beginners. It takes a bit of work to get your team setup at the start of the year, but its very easy after that. Its a lot of fun and makes all the non Demon games more interesting because you have players from opposition sides in your team and you want them to do well.
  21. Thankyou to all my fans. It was a good year. I got out to a flying start. Struggled a bit in the middle with the byes (even though I tried very hard to have a full team each week) and came home pretty well. Gotta say, there was a lot of luck that went my way this year. Big thank you to Deevoted for putting it all together. Very appreciated.
  22. Ha! I tried typing that on my phone when walking to work. I thought the overall score of 50 was a bit low for a 30 possession game. I justified it to myself as I didn't bother including marks and tackles!
  23. What? A Carlton supporter hangs [censored] on you and you got embarrassed for supporting our great club? F'ing weak. My Carlton supporter mate tried to give me a bit a few years ago. I punched him in the face and said 'I support Melbourne you salary cap cheating scum!' Never tried anything again.
  24. Fantasy football is a game where you have a pick of all the AFL players in the league and make your own team. Results are based on the real AFL games each weekend. Points are given to the players for actions they complete in games. For example, a kick might be worth 4 points. A handball would be worth 1. If you have Patrick Dangerfield and he has 20 kicks (20*4= 40) and 10 handball a (10*1=10) you would have 50 points. There is a salary cap involved. So you can't buy all the good players. Each week a players price will increase or decrease depending on their score. You can make a large amount of trades throughout the year. So the idea is to buy a cheap player, hope your player plays well and eventually upgrade to a premium player. The AFL website runs Dream Team. Herald Sun runs Supercoach. They are very similar. We have a whole seperate section based on it on demonland. Like how we have a seperate area for drafting/trade discussion.
  25. Thanks. Didnt know what I was suppose to Google. Melbourne dont rate good kicks? Jack Watts interview? Jack Watts sends heartbreaking message to loyal melbourne fans? oh yeah thats it.
