They won't even bother blaming anyone else Clint. They will move on to the next rumour and act like nothing has happened. The public love this stuff so much that they won't care and move on just as quick.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Nobody can train on the MCG. If you got there during the week you will see why. There are these solar devices that are all over the field to simulate the required sunlight that the grass needs. Cam Schwab posted it on his twitter once.

Hmm...looks like you are correct. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/paul-roos-reveals-new-spin-on-2013s-blockbuster-trade-between-melbourne-and-gws-giants/news-story/20f8f893a20fcd0c57cf90e413938e49

Its interesting to look back on the 2016 draft. Still too early to tell how its going to turn out as the majority of players are still only finding their feet, but its clear that we didnt rate it. Traded out our best 2 picks and picked up 3 VFL players, 1 Speculative Small Fwd and 1 Speculative Ruck

What makes you think we would have taken Billings? Roos was big on big bodied midfielders at the time and I once pointed out that we might have taken the Bont. @Vogon Poetry had a very good theory that we would have taken Sharenberg at 3. Cant quite remember why he thought that, but it had me convinced.

Demons on Masterchef (16/5/18)
As an ex chef with some mates and old colleagues who have appeared on the show, I 100% second all of this.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
Here is a taste of what we will have this year. Petracca mid/fwd.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
Judd and Danger both have/had explosive breakaway pace mixed with an excellent top speed. Ablett is definitely very quick. He isn't as quick as them but there is no way you could say he is slow. He has good acceleration and good pace without being great. He doesn't need to be. He is stronger over the ball than most and uses his strength to his advantage. He has super quick reflexes and is 'clean' with his ball handling. He rarely fumbles. The stats sheet never tells the true story with Track as most of the time he does the right thing with his possessions and sometimes something special that others can't consistently do. Once his tank is bigger and he starts getting more of it he has the potential to become a star of the game (something we haven't had since Flower). Will it be this year? Possibly. Sit back and enjoy the show! Slow? You're dreaming pal.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
I checked Oscars highlights the other day. They were pretty good (not as good as Petty's in my opinion). His disposal looked good at that level. He played forward a fair bit in them though. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-11-27/pick-53-highlights-oscar-mcdonald

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I've been around here for awhile now. While the signs do look good, its still to early to tell. Similar things were said on here about Craig Cameron when he was our recruiter. While I dont think he did a bad job, he certainly got talked up here until things went sour. Edit: Also helped that Craig posted on here every so often! I always appreciated that.

Was he rated that highly by a lot of people?

You have come round to TMac playing forward then? I did a best 22 the other day and the question marks were TMac fwd. OMac and Frost as the KPDs.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - OSKAR BAKER
Yeah! There will a couple who slide. Just hope it's someone we want. Have you seen Garner much? He was in first round calculations at the start of the year but seems to be one who will potentially slip to our picks.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Quite happy to start rotating it. Thanks Collingwood for letting us have it while we were sick. We're better now.

Personally, i am still dealing with the W purge from the early 2000s. Woewodin, White, Ward, Wheatley, Walsh, Whelan, Wizard Started feeling better when we got Watts and Wonamerri, but now i'm distraught again.

At the time of my post I did not realise we got pick 35 back. We traded less than Collingwood did for Treloar and in my opinon have won the trade. Totally disagree with the 'Treloar is a garden variety mid' comment.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Thanks! the live feed I saw didnt have this.(or I missed it somehow) Super happy now.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
So happy that we got him. But we paid way over. We should have got a 2nd rounder back if we were paying 2 firsts. The Treloar deal was the benchmark. Why we had to also give up a late pick is beyond me. If anything we should have got an extra late back as the minimum. We caved.

You think so? They made the big dance without him. I doubt Gibbs would been a 40+ point difference in the granny.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I could never support another team. I would have to change sports if I gave up AFL.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Agreed. If we drafted a player who is as good as Lever is with Pick 10 this year or next years first rounder then we would be over the moon. Its more than likely that one pick would be a bust. Lever is worth 2 first rounders with a second rounder back to us, or our first and second round pick with nothing in return. I have already posted earlier in this thread the history of pick 10. To be safe, lets imagine that we finish 7th next year (I'm predicting higher) and get pick 12 as a result. Below is a list of players drafted at pick 10 one year, pick 12 the next. As you will notice, its highly unlikely you will get a good player with both. Think I have cherry picked? Try it with pick 13, 14 or 15, the results are nearly the same. Jordan McMahon (WB), Brent Reilly (Ade) Sam Power (WB), Jay Schulz (Rich) Jason Laycock (Ess), Ryan Murphy (Fre) Ryley Dunn (Fre), Danny Meyer (Rich) Chris Egan (Col), Nathan Jones (Mel) Marcus Drum (Fre), James Frawley (Mel) Nathan Brown (Col), Cyril Rioli (Haw) Patrick Dangerfield (Ade), Lewis Johnston (Syd) Phil Davis (Ade), Kane Lucas (Car) Jake Melksham (Ess), Lucas Cook (Mel) Daniel Gorringe (GC), Sam Docherty (Bris) Toby Greene (GWS), Kristian Jaksch (GWS) Joe Daniher (Ess F/S), Ben Lennon (Rich) Nathan Freeman (Col), Corey Ellis (Rich) Nakia Cockatoo (Gee), Charlie Curnow (Car) Harry McKay (Car), Jy Simpkin (NM) Jack Bowes (GC), Thomas Gorter (WC)
