The interesting (and clever) move Brisbane did was have a player sit off the back of Max when he was going for the mark from a down the line kick. Wait till Max is about to take it, then cannon into the back of him, essentially a body spoil preventing him from taking the mark. They knew they were outgunned and planned accordingly. Great coaching from Fagan and nothing illegal to it either.

I think i complain about this every week, but honestly can we please get a 'sounds from the ground' option? The commentators this week nearly had me turning the game off at one point and that was at the point where we were starting to play well too.

Think he was spent. He clearly wanted to turn this game around and was busting a nut in the last quarter. Was happy with his intent today to be honest.

Ultimately? Yes. His game plan allows super quick kicks to come into our defence. He picked Smith when he clearly isn't ready.

Actually a lot to like about this game. So much better than last week. Because I knew we had lost at selection I've been able to enjoy the good parts of the game.

He just doesn't know what to do. Bizarre choice to play him.

I agree with most. But Smith has been caught in no man's land so many times. While the game plan is a nightmare for our defenders but Smith has been diabolical today in my opinion. I don't think Lever and Smith should play in the same team and Lever is so much better. Omac would free Lever up to play his preferred role. I dont think Omac is great but he's better than Smith.

Hibberd has actually been good since coming back into the team

If we dont play a 2nd tall forward next week i'm going to [censored] lose it and... the team will lose too.

Pettraca barely jogging on transition to defense too. If you are spent then get to the bench. This game plan does not suit our players.
