Goody on some burning questions...
It's been a great preseason on Demonland. So many great training reports and information to keep me engaged. This video makes me realise how much I just want the games to start. I'm getting sick of reading and hearing about what we are going to do. I just want to see it now. A lot of standard Goodwin media responses in there. I really enjoyed the questions from Fritsch and Salem. Goodwins personality actually shone through.

I would love to see a Japanese demon style. Like the one I've just changed my profile picture to.

Keen! I'm usually in each year but think I was too late last year. Maximum Johnson was my team name

Trade Targets
Saints big offers makes it hard for us to compete too. We haven't landed a big trade for awhile and with Gus premature retirement, we might have enough to lure a free agent. We wouldn't be able to compete with saints level money and you would think North would still have a large amount of salary cap space too.

2025 NON-MFC Injury List
I remember when Petracca did his knee at this same time of the preseason in his first year. He went on to have a great career but at the time it felt like the sky was falling. Early picks are such a huge investment. Hopefully he can recover like tracc did.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
Ah... I thought the video was new. I didn't realise it was from the draft.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 19th February 2025
Henderson is a shiny new toy. But is he actually going to walk straight into a new club and play in a practice match within 2 days of joining? Plus he just played a practice match against Richmond 2 days ago. Surely there needs to be some sort of cohesion with other players on the list? He didn't even train with us today.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I assume it was Culley. Pure assumption. I feel bad for Culley. Sounds like he has done enough. I just can't see him breaking into a midfield with our standard Oliver, Petracca, Viney trio with Rivers, Pickett, Langdon the new rotations. Sparrow really should have made a position his own last year. It will be interesting to see how he goes this year. Very happy that we went Henderson over the other 2 options we had lined up.

PREGAME: Match SIM vs North Melbourne
One of my best mates is a Carlton member. He has equal continued gripes about the disorganised communication from Carlton that we do. Mate : "Can I come into this pre-game function room? My membership says I can" Carlton: "Nah mate. Next room for you" Mate: "I've been through this before. My membership grants me access" Carlton: "Definitely not. You are mistaken" Mate: "Here is the terms of my membership and an email from the club sent to me after I enquired last time you refused me. It says I'm allowed in" Carlton: "I'll check with someone" Ten minutes later Carlton "Yeah, ok. Just this once." Serves him right.

I will let someone else give a definitive answer as I'm not 100% sure. If you aren't on the list then you won't be getting paid enough to quit your day job as a start.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I feel like Henderson was going to be the one to be more likely for regular game time in the firsts. It's a moot point now. Got em both. Hopefully this can end the "I can't believe we gave player X another contract and missed out on Z" comments. We got the players we wanted. Roy George who doesn't quite look ready for the big time yet and Jai Culley who would struggle to break into a strong midfield are both at Casey. The only downside is that they won't be able to train with the main squad during the season.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
We lost by 7 points in the end. Laurie playing nearly 3 full quarters had 1 kick, 4 handballs, 1 clanger and 2 tackles. There were so many little things that could have happened for us to win that game and our path could have been very different. This isnt me bagging Laurie. It was the selection decision. Laurie had only played a few games that year and had no consistency. All spilt milk in the end. 100% agree on the Carlton game. Super happy we got Henderson. He looks a similar player to Chandler based on highlights. Hoping he gets a crack early.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I loved Harmes. He wasn't a Rolls Royce but was best 22 for us and will always be a premiership hero. Who could forget that kick to Fritta in the third quarter to start the greatest 20mins of football a demon fan has ever seen? I don't have any inside info on what happened between him and the club in 2023, but I can't help but think we would have won the semi final against Collingwood if we had an in form Harmes as the substitute instead of Laurie to replace Brayshaw. Was he so checked out of the club that he wasn't a better option at the time? Maybe he was had injuries the club wasn't telling us about... I guess I'm still bitter about 2023. It will be the one we look back on as the one that got away. I've watched a number of his games at the Western Bulldogs. It was a rough start to the year for him. He didn't seem to fit into the team and looked very much the 2023 version. He was in and out of the team a few times before getting on a roll in the second half of the year and playing some really good footy. He did a hammy early in a game against the pies but was a surprise inclusion for their elimination final against the Swans.

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
Bulldogs should have a look at him with Keath retired and Liam Jones has just done a severe hamstring.

Sorry mate. Dazzle made those comments and I could only assume it was directed at you as you were the only one who commented on it. I thought it was a fair assumption to make. I had no intention of pointing a finger at you thinking you were in anyway in the wrong. Ill let dazzle reply to his own comments in the future.
