  1. Oh my god you are so full of [censored]. It was you who stated in a previous topic that Jurrah wasn't going to be that great because he wasn't drafted early. And also, Isn't Dunn the dreaded 192cm tall? you called him a dud a couple of weeks ago purely basing your argument on height and now your saying he is going to be good?
  2. is it even possible to trade a rookie? I hope he does go to sydney and gets a chance.
  3. This is good. I hope he can remain injury free for the rest of the year. Was due for a big year this year. Some posters think he will be one of the ones who will be getting delisted at the end of the year. Hope he shows enough to be retained.
  4. I wish we could fast-forward to the end of the year. Im sick of all this Priority pick crap that will undoubtabley dominate the board for the next 7 weeks.
  5. I really dont see how this will improve things in the long run. Teams will just tank earlier. Imagine if we got a priority pick now but then win another 5 games. Hardly makes it fair for the other clubs.

  7. This is great news for the club. Hope we can end up playing a couple of games up there a year. The money the club gets from this is massive. Hope we can get a Tassie/Hawks type deal. Would be a great excuse to head up there for a holiday. Seems we will be competing with the Bulldogs on this one. Seems the new board is focusing on something that can actually make us some cash rather than the old board wasting time in China. Good work Schwabby.
  8. Freo will not win another game this year. We will beat Freo. There is no doubt about it. We cannot win another game untill round 20.
  9. Over 5 years might be a bit long. I think they should scrap the 2nd round priority pick. Calabreseboy lottery system also makes a lot of sense to me. Is that the NBA draft system?
  10. Do we really need to 'inflict' an injury on CJ? Think he would do more harm to hamper their season in the Carlton side than out! Seriously though, I would love to beat Carlton for our 4th win.
  11. In an ideal world. I would love for freo to finish bottom of the ladder. But we still only win 4 games. That way we get pick 1 + 3 and dont get the spoon for another year. Freo needs KPP so will either take a punt on Butcher, or will pick up a local boy eg. Morabito/Lucas. The only real downside is they would get a priority pick at the end of the 2nd round.
  12. Mick is completley right. I want the best for the club. I want those picks. But realisticly I havent been able to truly enjoy a win for 2 seasons now. The system needs to change. Just make it next year!
  13. I highly doubt it. Robbo, Wheatley, Whelan, McDonald are pretty much certain to be delisted.
  14. Ill be really scared if we win this one. This years draft is shallow, and next years is totally comprimised. We really need to get the priority pick this year. Ill be happy when we win more games next year because we have an extra gun player. If we win more than 4 this year then the year is a massive faliure. And don't give me that [censored] about 'we must have a winning culture'
  15. He has been injured a lot, which doesn't help his chances at the end of the year. I hope if they do think of letting him go, then they Rookie him.
  16. "Jack Trengove and Tom Scully are the top end blokes," he says about the two players tipped to be top-three selections come November, therefore bringing them into Melbourne's calculations. Link here: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsart...94/default.aspx Loved it. Didn't give too much away, but its interesting. Interesting to see Colin Garland helping out.
  17. Disgraceful post. Yep, Robbo's not what he once was, and his time at the club is in its final stages. But he has been a good performer for the club over the years, hardly deserves to be told 'Thanks, now go away' Its people like Robbo who made me support the club.
  18. The first point you bring up is that he has come off a serious injury! He's on the wrong side of 30 and has recently been injured! Alarm bells are ringing. He's been awesome for the club, he's one of my fave players. Plus im from Tasmania, which makes him all the better in my eyes. But its his time to go this year. Delisting - Robbo, McDonald, Whetley, Whelan. Maybe - Bartram, Dunn, Buckley (personally i think bucks will stay) Bell, Newton, PJ - are all contracted.
  19. Love your work High Tower.
  20. If we are talking about 2 years from now then I would love to see Greeny head back into the forward line from time to time. Should have some decent mids to allow him to return. Hopefully he still has his accuracy boots from back in the day.
  21. Still no game for Valenti! unbelievable! Mclean is clearly not fit/carrying an injury of some type. If he aggravates his injury this week and cant do preseason im going to be really [censored] off.
  22. Thanks a heap Doggo! im over in london at the moment and really love the whole drafting/trading stuff. No chance that I will get to see the games, so your effort is really appreciated!
  23. Matera would almost certainly be going to GC17 in next years draft. Ive been keen on Jetta too. looks like he will become a midfielder after developing, and seems to be the most talented jetta out of the lot. WC fans reakon he will be there 2nd round pick.
  24. yeah i hope we get 4 wins! would love it to be against carlton in round 21! More likely to be richmond though. If we lose next week, we will definatley finish bottom of the ladder regardless. Richmond will win another game.
  25. Valenti needs to come in. Its time to give him a decent run to see if its worth elevating him.
