  1. How did Max Gawn go?
  2. I missed it too. Hope he turns it around next year. The question is. Do we continue with his Forward/Ruck development?. Or do we send him back to defence where he had been good earlier on?
  3. I don't get it. The question was 'Are the new facilities giving us better results?' your answer is Jim Stynes? Sorry maybe im just dumb but I don't get what you mean.
  4. Always loved watching him match up on Hird.
  5. 1) Nope. Too old. 2) I think there trade value is still really good. Cox is still an awesome ruckman. Hawks would have to be really keen. Hawks would have to give up there number 1 pick. Eagles would probably want more than that. Kerr's value has gone down a little as he has been injured for for the past few years. Late first rounder would do it. Bombers might be keen?
  6. Milne is still in from my calculations, It's easy to forget how good some players were at the start of the year. Griffen would be ahead of Selwood, but if Selwood keeps going the way he has been, he might just push him out. I don't think Frawley has the runs on the board to get across the line. Green should. Jamar should definitely get the 2nd ruck.
  7. Where?
  8. Lazy journalism. "here's my short opinion. What do you think?" Yawn... I've read much better on the same topic on bigfooty forums.
  9. Billy, I agree with you. I too don't want to trade for a tall. The one's that we want would cost us too much. I really don't want to trade any young guns or our first round pick. Would love the club to draft one this year though. I enjoyed reading your opening post, but your whole argument is based on Watts becoming a Superstar in a few years time. What if he doesn't make it? I Would like another 1 or maybe even 2 more talls taken this year. (and rookie a ruck)
  10. You Tube highlights are up. Bigfooty thread I like the look of Cook and Darling. According to the early phantom drafts they both could be round about our potential pick.
  11. I thought there was going to be a demon on it?
  12. I'm not so sure about that. A lot of supporters are unhappy with him. And with Hardwick getting the tigers up and going it shows that Knights was the wrong choice. The media have been focusing on Knights this year, and a loss this week against a young demon side will see the flood gates open.
  13. Who wrote this article? It seems to have come straight from a dee supporter. At the start it say's that he is underrated. I disagree. I think the majority of the football world knows that he is an excellent player. And while it compares his stats to scarletts it doesn't take into account who the direct opponant was. Matty Scarlett was playing on the best forwards. Frawley doesn't always. I'm looking forward to seeing jack riewoldt vs chip again. Both in good form. I think chip was a bit unlucky the first time around this year.
  14. Umpires will favour us untill essendon fans start booing them and then they will let essendon get away with anything and penalise us for everything.
  15. Did anyone actually read the article? Bombers are working on a new clash jumper for 2011. This will be the last time we clash. Everyone needs to relax.
  16. What's going on? I only have an iPhone so can't tell!
  17. Great article. There was one part I had to read a couple of times. Round 11 against Collingwood, he had his groin injected 3 times at half time. Comes back on and rips his groin and stomach muscles. I'm amazed that our medical staff could let this happen.
  18. I would rather keep Miller for another year than give up anything more than a 4th round pick to the pies for Anthony.
  19. Are you sure? I thought Green was eligable for vetern status at years end? Happy to be proven wrong though.

Yeah your right, I can't believe how good I feel now that another young player has got an injury! yipee! Hope there are more to come! It's great for the game! I also loved it when Jurrah dislocated his shoulder and the Adelaide radio commentators pretty much cheered! what a laugh!
  22. McKenzie and Spencer will be elevated, and i'm predicting we will use our first 3 draft picks. That's 5 spaces we need to clear up. My predictions. 1) Bell. Has had enough chances. 2) PJ. If he can't get a game now he never will. 3) Miller. Will have to kick 30 more goals for the year to even think of being retained. 4) Dunn. I've been a fan this year, he looks dangerous up forward but wayward kicking may have hurt his chances. I'm predicting that he will go to the rookie list like we did with Newton and Meeson. (if another club doesn't pick him up first) 5) James McDonald. I started a thread earlier in the year saying that he might have another year in him. However we have lots of kids competing for his position and I reckon he will either retire or be asked to retire. Rookies- Spencer. Elevated to senior list. McKenzie. Elevated to senior list. Hughes. Might have a chance of being retained as our third year rookie if he puts in a good 2nd half of the year. Wouldn't be surprised if he was de-listed though. Hughes - Hasn't shown enough. Newton - Time's up Meeson - The end of a trading error. The others in doubt. Bail. Was a certain de-listing at start of year but was good in his games early. Might need to show a bit more to secure his spot. Bruce. One year contract from here on in. Cheney, McNamara and Maric are all contracted for 2011 (I think)

I think people who celebrate or cheer injuries should be get a temporary ban from this board. Hope he gets better soon. Will make Carlton's finals hopes a bit harder though.
  24. Yeah. Shame on us for getting excited about something. What we need is a good forward. Jurrah is a good forward.
  25. Have a look at Richmonds list. They have Deledio, Foley, Cousins, Cotchin and Martin in the midfield who win the clearences and kick straight to Riewoldt who played against a travelling West Coast without Glass. Green, Jurrah, Sylvia and Pettard all could have kicked ten in the same conditions and delivery
