I actually missed the queens birthday match this year as I was in fiji. I followed the game via demonland and general consensus was that Jamar easily beat Jolly in the ruck. Any one recall? Interestingly enough, Jamar turned up at my resort a day later.

I use to dislike him. Pretty sure it started when he had a hair cut and it made the back page news back in 2006 or 2007. Always thought he was over rated. He ripped it up in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He was tough would run hard both ways, use the ball well and would be heavily involved in every contest he could. He became one of my favourite players to watch over that period. Only question is his recent injury concerns. He hasn't been able to get back on the park for a long time now. My thoughts are that he would go to Carlton. But lets offer him a heap of cash and see if we can get him. Landing a free agent is a great way for us to turn our midfield around. Have to try and retain Sylvia of course or accept reduced compensation at least.

Ben Cousins was 30 when he went to Richmond. Played 2 years before a consistent hamstring problem stopped him from continuing. His hamstring problem started when playing for west coast. Cross is a great guy and does not have injury concerns or a drug problem.

Nope. He is not a free agent, therefore we would need to give something of value to get him. If we could get him for free or very very cheaply I would be all for it.

Yes. That summed up his final years. Thats why he was let go earlier than he would have liked. Do you think that summed up his entire career? Defensive pressure in the fwd50 wasnt used when Robbo started playing fo us. The game changed.

Harsh on Robbo. Its easy to forget how good he was in his prime. A matchup nightmare for opposition teams, and a match winner. Its his final years that have tainted his image. The game simply changed and he could not. I would love another Robbo. A younger one who could learn defensive pressure.

I only want players with above average speed. Or a good burst of acceleration if an inside type. Good disposal and speed is what I would like our recruiters to look for. Good body size a close third.
