As Lethal Leigh has said before - there is no natural position for Col in modern footy. He is a natural leading forward but 8-10cm too short to play in that position and doesn't have the engine or vision to play as a mid-fielder.

Can't help but think P Roos is conditioning us all for a Frawley trade or putting heat on Chip to extend ASAP. I'd be surprised that there'd be a battle for Drain. Hasn't been able to find a job in footy for about last 2 years. Footy manager with Kevin Sheedy at Essendon, Footy Manager at Bulldogs with Eade (short stint) and then moved to Saints as head of list management and left their list completely our of whack when he left (both in aging of list and salary cap pressure). Seen him go backwards over time - not sure worth fighting over.

Reminds me of Martin Pyke - same hunched running style - hard at ball, good judgement of when to leave man and become rebounding option. Has turned the ball over, but been under massive pressure all season - think he will end up being an absolute beauty and fan favourite.
