  1. One of the myriad of reasons Cameron Schwab should get the lemonade and sass....... this was his blue print - and he had a masssive influence on both tanking and the recruiting strategy of outside runners instead of the footballers (like geelong and collingwood) - also overseen appointment of last two lemmings (aka coaches).
  2. In :- Watts (if fit - to play down back) Gys (Class link player we need) Morton (play for rest of the season & tell him he's playing for spot on the list - & we need the outside run) Out :- Dunn (can't play key defence - too stupid and unreliable) Jetta (think he'll get a week with a guilty plea) Spencer (better off letting Martin ruck solo with relief from Sellar)
  3. I don't just think it's Neeld in the spotlight for driving the playing group backwards - I think the highly rated and paid David Misson has to explain his performance as well & where he says the list at. The club's PR machine pumped up how much hard running the group was doing all pre-season and now there appears to be zero speed in the group. Trengove, Grimes, Maloney, Davey & Magner look like they've been playing in concrete boots. Also, Jamar missed 4 with a calf injury, returns to the team and the calf goes again in first 10 minutes..... how poor a reflection is that on the conditioning team?
  4. Neeld has managed to coach the following players to be shadows of their former selves:- 1. Maloney - say no more 2. Trengove - does not have any influence on the game - looks as slow as a wet week 3. Grimes - also having no impact on the game - skills are going backwards - should be a gun. 4. Frawley - still good in the contest but has become a liability with the ball - nowhere near his all australian form 5. Davey - goes without saying 6. Bail - no impact - kicking has not improved 7. Jamar - before his injury was having no influence 8. Magner - ball winning gun in first 2 weeks - but since Neeld negated all his attack and ground the confidence out of him 9. Petard - confidence looks shot Cant believe that the much hyped rebuild from 2006 onwards has ended up like this. 18 months ago we were better than GC, Port, Adelaide, Richmond, Freo, Brisbane, North and were on par with Essendon....... now I don't think we'll beat Gold Coast with Neeld at the helm.
  5. In: Green, Couch, Gysberts (Jamar if fit) Out : Dunn (susp), Magnar, Nicholson (injured shoulder, if not dropped) Green to take Rivers spot up forward, Riv to go to back line where he is best (Dunn to never play key back again please) Magnar looking more like a good VFL player by the week - kicking not up to standard. Nicho dropped - as you can't play Nicho and Bail in the same side - both too big a liability with the ball in hand. Bail can find the ball and works hard both ways so should be given a run of games to truely test foot skills at the top level.
  6. Moloney has to be dropped for Gysberts. He was so lazy today. There was a Black goal in the 2nd quarter where he was unmanned for about 15 secs before he marked a pass and Brent stood about 25 meters away just pointing at him - shadow of former self. Trengove is as slow as a wet week. If it's OP, give him a months rest as adds nothing to the side currently - reminds me of Luke Ball 5 years ago. Frawley needs a rocket. Blease needs to start every week - Coach needs to look at what he can do rather than not do.
  7. Having watched Sheahan a couple of times this year, he's got the most upside. Really good size, great mover and judges the ball overhead really well. Played in defence most of the year, but I think he looks like a tall marking forward, he kicked bags as a junior.
  8. Step aside Cameron - you've administered over a failed 5 year plan and been a divisive figure in footy operations.
  9. You are therefore agreeing with me. Because Bailey made a huge mistake in throwing out senior servants too early (White, Yze, James Mac, Bruce (by not allowing 2 yr contract) etc. it proves my point that Neeld has no emotional intelligence - he should have been more aware of the senior players standing and treated them with more respect - even if they had let the club down in the past. It should have all been about moving forward with Grimes and perhaps one of Rivers or Jones as co-captain (never should have been a 20 y.o.). It may sound like jargon but I've done quite a lot of leadership training and key element to being a good leader is emotional intelligence - that is being aware of peoples feelings and being able to communicate to them based on their personality. This can't really be taught or learnt - you either have it or you don't and from what i see he doesn't have it.
  10. Neeld solely has to be held responsible for this season. He was given a clean slate and has pulled every wrong lever ever since. Mixed messages to players and media. Wrong to make a 20 y.o a captain Wrong to sack all former leaders including former Captain - no respect. Lacks emotional intelligence, continually talked down previous football administration and continually compared to Collingwood to players and media. He has been given every resource (as opposed to Bailey) and driven the club into the ground. If we are still playing this way in 5 weeks he should do the honourable thing and step down (but of course he won't).
  11. Don't you mean Tom Mc?? He gifted 3 goals directly to Doggies from Turnovers. I think Tom has a future, but needs 2 years a solid education in the VFL..... Like so many of our players should have had in the past 5 years. I think Joel plays a role and Rivs and Chip look better when he's in the side.

    Neil Craig

Clint Stanaway (channel 9) has tweeted tonight that Craig is coming to dees.
  13. Been on Demonology for years, and read on here everyday. However only post when I truly am concerned about something. And I truly believe Schwab has been good for MFC but he's gone missing of late when the heat is on. One of his last tweets was he was certain we'd reach 40000 members. Well we going to be about 4000 short of that so our revenue budget will be short by about $450,000. Wonder if he is still projecting a profit? Also, I believe he should be updating members again re Scully.
  14. Anyone else curious as to what's happened to Cam Schwab? He was a dedicated user of social media to keep in touch with the members and supporters and has disappeared since the Caro Wilson article said he was under the pump. Are we to guess that he's been gagged by the Board? Or does he have nothing to say about not re signing Scully, possibly losing Morton for nothing to gold coast in the pre season draft or nothing to say about his faith in baileys coaching? Would expect greater leadership in the difficult times from the CEO and not to hide under his desk. Cam, I know you visit this site, show leadership, provide the vision for MFC and don't disappear during the tough times.
  15. Weak decision. If doubt on bails then move him on, don't try and prop him up. It would be like when David parkin sat over Peter schwabs shoulder at hawthorn. Better off getting one excellent coach like Paul Roos.
  16. Robbo of the Hun has retweeted that Schwab and Bailey met with Leigh Mathews in a sth yarra cafe today. Anyone heard anything in relation to this? Don't tell me lethal is going to be bailey's bomber Thompson!
