yes, on 3aw, they were talking about the afl possibly making an exception to allow hogan to be allowed on our last primary list lodgement in march. Apparently, if the case was taken to court, the afl would lose. An exemption was made for bate back in the day because he was 28 days too young. The afl allowed him to make the grade due to his physical maturity. Here's hoping hogan plays round1. The MFC should at least lobby the afl for an exemption.

Maybe, there is an agreement that the fine can be paid over 'x' many years, and that maybe over time, the fine can be further watered down so that in essence, the perception of a half $million fine was just a symbolic penalty that does not have to be paid at all. The afl have egg on their face, more so than MFC, and all parties know this. MFC may have said, if we challenge you in court, we will win and you will look almighty stupid on the other hand, give us a big fine which we can water down over a ten-year period. Lesson learned, that's enough!
