So throwing the game was a heavens send.

Maybe that fat cat dimetriou should be the first one sacked. He is a [censored]. He fukced the incentives. Supporters want 2 things. 1. Premierships 2. Heros He sold us the notion that losing can win us heroes, and then premierships. In saying that 80% fell for it hook line and sinker. Karma wins.

Is losing on purpose illegal? We did. Everyone knows that. Most of us endorsed it. We lost to try to win a premiership. The hard way. The afl set up the plan, with a lack of logic. We must all acknowledge that stupidity of the system and move on.

By losing a game, we essentially picked up trengove (captain), hogan (chf) & wines. Really, it seems fair. What we didn't anticipate was the karma. I think there were lessons in this for the whole league, not just the MFC. What dosnt kill you, can make you stronger.

I think letting Moloney and Rivers and Martin and Pettered and Gysberts and Bennell and Cook and Bate and Morton go for little more than peanuts is pretty drastic, especially considering all of them were replaced by Byrnes and pick 49 odd. That is fairly drastic. Nobody would have predicted that at the end of 2011.

Neeld had a disgraceful 2012 season. Lets be blunt about that. He lost many loyal players and could not install confidence, inspire and unite the club. As a result, he had to take drastic measures, in which he has done, and I commend him for that. If not for the aggressive way he has approached the trade season, and the ruthless way he has swung his sword, I would still be calling for his head. Now, I can see that he is going to charge thru 2013, without an excuse in the world. I like that. Balls and all! Now lets see if he can coach. If we end up bottom 4, I will again call for his head, but I am looking quite optimistically about the future. I just hope we can straightedn up a bit and back ourselves in a bit more. Time will tell.

I think I may kind of be sub-consciously psychic, because I have a good or bad feeling about certain players that join our club, even without ever seeing them play a game. There name and a small highlights package is all I need, and I have very rarely been wrong. I felt very uneasy about drafting Morton, Strauss, Gysberts & cook, yet I was very excited to get sylvia, jones, grimes, blease, gawn & Howe, just to name a few. As for our new selections, I obviously think hogan, wines and viney will be rippers. I think rodan will be a better acquisition than Byrnes and pedderson a more damaging player than Dawes. Pedders' highlights look a-grade. I am excited. I also think we will get Jacobs via the psd and davey will play good footy this year.

After some more thought; FB: Nicholson, Frawley, Dunn HB: Watts, T.McDonald, Garland C: Howe, Grimes, Trengove Yes, I think you are pretty much spot on. When you consider the half forwards, wingman and centres all rotating off the bench. One thing tho, I would not dismiss a fit and determined Aaron Davey. People forget how good he is. If he is fit and firing, he will be a very handy FP.

If he wants to play for MFC and MFC want him, surely they can negotiate a contract and agree that he will be taken at pick 3 in the PSD. It seems quite logical. Never seen him play btw. He could be black for all I know?

It think Tex has a point. The Club should come out with a statement with a reason why each of these players were delisted. Something like; Petterd - Delisted due to commitment levels not meeting club standards. Bennell - Delisted due to a weakness in his ability to get into the play and win contested football. Bate - Delisted due to an inability to secure a position within our best 22 after 8 years of service. and so on. Many supporters follow players, and these supporters should be given a reason why the club choose not to re-contract players. I believe it could be done in a tactful way.

I still think he is the diamond. He is just now understanding what it takes. He will be one of our most beautiful players to watch. Think Cyril, but more elegant, yet delicate. One htat I would preserve with, for sure. There is plenty of room for Bennell and Jetta. We need them.
