Played a good game against geelong. Was very ordinary in his other games.
Gives away silly frees and kicks out on the full too often.
Still is useful for depth in a poor draft year.
I'd get rid of Terlich though
Comparing Cross's 'retirement' with Junior's exit from the club is ludicrous.
Junior was the captain (was also faster and a better kick) and had given everything he had to the club. Delisting him ripped some of the soul out of the club' fabric.
Cross has been terrific for the group in setting standards and his professionalism. But he has become markedly slower and his skills have deteriorated.
I would have been happy for him to have another year but am not to upset that he doesn't.
I do hope he sccepts an off field role with us.
Having donated many threads to the veil of negativity over the years, I will now sail blithely into my second childhood. I hope to see six flags as I did in my first.
The lions would then win the wooden spoon - so it wouldn't be losing to the wooden spooners.
My blues supporting partner would be mildly happier.
Demonland would meltdown
A higher draft pick
The next day would be Monday
The game plan did not look rubbish, defensive or slow when we beat Geelong, Collingwood or the bullies (the first time we played them). Or the toigs.
When we rid ourselves of more of the nqr's we will be able to be more attacking without yhe constant turnovers that make the game plan look bad.
Oh ffs.
The Bullies are playing for a top four spot and want to keep building their percentage to stay ahead of Sydney. We are a bottom six side with little but pride to gain.
MJones and Bail are playing.
What other result could anyone envisage.
