  1. I believe there is a strategic reason why they didn't want to post footage of our game online for the whole world to see. I know it wasn't a closed training session, but you still don't need every club and their dogs sniffing around, picking apart moves, tactics and game plans.
  2. It's two weeks out, after completing the whole pre-season. Time to calm down.
  3. I doubt very much that if circumstances were beyond his control that they would have sanctioned him. No problems whatsoever with a minor slap on the wrist (lets be honest, nobody is going to play every round of the NAB Cup anyway). It sends a strong message. I'd get a slap on the wrist/warning if I was late for a meeting, especially if I didn't notify anybody, which is what we can assume happened. Neeld is an [censored]. I love it!
  4. It's footy after no footy has been played for months. Give me shite footy over no footy any day of the week. I am pathetically hanging out for Saturday. So sad.
  5. Even the random supporters at the pub where I had drinks last night were abusing Scully (despite also wanting GWS to beat Collingwood). It was a very amusing and in some sick way a pleasurable start to my evening.
  6. If you get to post Katy Perry doing dubstep, I get to post the greatest parody of all times
  7. Because he is not a leader's a$$hole?!
  8. I believe the time to tell me that this was about rock, was when I put up Whitney, no? Also, Katy Perry, really?! Only when drunk!
  9. Quite excited that Adele won all the Grammy awards this year, instead of rubbish ho-bags like Katy Perry. At least one female on the planet struck gold from a crap relationship
  10. To commemorate one of the greatest divas of all time, I present my favourite 80's hit. I have spent many a weekends getting drunk and dancing to this one. RIP Whitney! P.S.- some epic fashion choices in that video clip.
  11. I firmly believe that when he looks back on this decision, he will regret it in years to come. He had the chance to be something big, a meaningful player in the history of the game. Now he'll be a nobody playing for a team struggling on and off the field in a disinterested market. Sometimes the grass is not greener. And he thought we had problems...
  12. I read 'Collingwood' and 'annoyed' in the thread title and immediately assumed I don't care.
  13. Poor redheads. So injury prone.
  14. Laughable to suggest Frawley can't be elite because he's a defender. Scarlett is elite. He's so elite he has helped the Cats win multiple flags. Frawley is already one of the best defenders in the league and has as good a chance as Watts to be considered an elite player in the AFL, not to mention be our best player in 3 years times (I'd argue he is already our best player now based on consistency alone!).
  15. You're a nobody on this forum until rpfc has told you to f' off
  16. It works on so many levels, especially because we have so many panic merchants on this site!
  17. Ummmm, we have a sponsor. We've nailed a major sponsorship deal, the biggest we've ever had in fact, with Energy Watch. We just want to secure another major sponsor. 3 years ago we started the NAB Cup with no sponsorship. None. Zero. Zilch! We also secured Volvo today as a continued sponsor. Kthnxby
  18. If, and it's a big if, the coward shows his face at the G in round 13, I will enjoy taking every inch of rage I have inside me, on him. And trust me, there is a LOT of rage! I rarely boo opposition players, and I have never bothered booing guys like TJ, Thompson, Farmer or McLean. It seems a waste of time. But I WILL abuse the crap out of him and it WILL make me feel damn good. It will be made even better when we beat them by 200 points. Sadly, because he is an immature coward and a [censored], he won't be there. Guaranteed.
  19. For those who want to abolish priority picks, just remember that we would still be on the bottom of the ladder if we didn't get ours. And if we ever find ourselves on the bottom again (and history suggests that we will), I would very much like to get that sort of assistance. Us, and many other smaller clubs, would simply fold, if not afforded help in collecting talent. Do we really want Collingwood and West Coast and Adelaide winning every premiership?
  20. Anyone know what's wrong with McKenzie? He's been in the rehab group all pre-season!
  21. Don't EVER compare that pathetic, stand-for-nothing, franchise to our great club who has stood the test of time for over 150 years and invented the sport we all love. When GWS have 12 premiership cups and some of the best players in the history of the game to boast about, then talk to me. Terrible comparison. Hope Scully is feeling sick with jealousy watching his old teammate receive the captaincy today. While Trengove will be leading his proud traditional club onto the G each week, Scully will be running around an empty unfinished ground with 3 fans and a dead possum on his head.
  22. I think our premiership success does not depend on the happiness of Green, Davey, Rivers and Moloney. But we won't win a flag without Grimes, Trengove, Frawley and Garland. Footy is like any other competitive industry, people lose out, people get fired, and people have to put up with it. The players who are no longer in the leadership group have clearly done something wrong. Jones and Grimes made it through 2011 because they displayed outstanding leadership in tough times. The other 4, didn't.
  23. Some players are just born leaders and it doesn't matter whether they are any good on the field. Two years ago, when Jack Grimes was 20 and injured, I met with some very high ranking people at the club about a different matter. I was told then that Grimes missed out on a leadership group by a whisker. At 20 and having played less than 20 games. Some people have it, and some people don't. Bartram clearly has it by the bucket loads, and it has nothing to do with his talent. When guys like Davey are picked into the leadership group, you think, well of course, they are so bloody talented. And then you realise how terrible a decision it is to choose a leader based on their talent ranking. Davey, Green, Bruce, Yze... I can go on. All damn good players. All damn poor leaders. Junior, average player, brilliant leader.
