  1. Well our friend seems to have had a change of heart. Respect for Craig + 5 year deal worth $5mil* = happiness for all. *figures not quoted for truth
  2. Get him. FFS get him now. Also, get him.
  3. What was their reason for not going after Tippet. I get all the other ones, but Tippet would be a great fit. He is only 25 and he is a big bodied forward. If we don't at least inquire about his price it's a joke. If he ends up at GC then we know money won out and that would [censored] me off, because we too can offer him buckets of cash plus the chance to play on the G every week.
  4. He is just so stupid. I pity the dumb.
  5. Please for the love of god lets make this happen. Strong want for Tippet.
  6. How did this start out as a discussion about a 15 year old boy, and ended up here? Only on Demonland.
  7. And that's just us supporters celebrating the win. Don't even get us started on the players and that Cookie Monster costume they found in the hotel room...
  8. Screwing Junior over for the sake of a year was a monumental [censored] up. He had valuable leadership attributes that we desperately needed and wanted, and was an examplery player for us. Sometimes I shake my head at some of the stupidly idiotic decisions we have made with our list. Newton got an extra year but Junior didn't. I mean FFS! It was an epic fail.
  9. Oh Sammy Mitchell.... So close! Congrats to Watson, he is a great player and quite humble.
  10. Stuff the medal count, its a sad reminder that we are so bad we can't even score 3 votes in a win. Pia Miller BOG. Killer dress.
  11. Ugh stuff Hawthorn. I despise them. Swannies for me all the way.
  12. Fine, have both of my imaginary nuts. It's worth it just to see Patrick Dangerfield in a Melbourne jumper. I am going to Photoshop it and dream.
  13. If I had a left nut, I'd give it up for Patrick Dangerfield. So much want!
  14. Can't begrudge him. Gave us his best years and experienced less than zero success. Deserves to try and find some elsewhere, when realistically his body only has 1-2 years left.
  15. Unlike a lot of people, I wasn't born a Melbourne supporter, I chose to become one when I was 12. I have never ever regreted that choice and as fed up as I get with the club sometimes, I have never contemplated ditching it. I can't think of anything that will make me stop following the club. I may be jaded, but I'm also blinded by faith that one day my choice will pay off. So I guess I'm stuck here forever.
  16. True that, I mean he was the biggest low life in IKEA, and that says something! I did push in front of him at the cash register at another store though. Serves the [censored] right *small victories*
  17. I think I deserve 5th place in the GWS B&F for resisting the urge to run Tom Scully over in a shopping centre last weekend. I'm a team player!
  18. And well done to Jonesy. A most deserving winner. Thanks for being one of the only things that stopped me from shooting myself in the eyes this year. (Mitch Clark will win by 100,000 votes next season if he gets through 22 games without breaking his head/neck/leg/arm/face). Now [censored] right off season 2012. You are officially dead to me!
  19. Well done to Rivers. Coming 5th while spending half the season in a foreign role in a dead zone where the ball barely appears once a quarter. Very much hopes he stays, but if he leaves, this will help his FA value.
  20. Jordie Mac- what a teacher's pet he is! Says a lot that two very different group of coaches have awarded him the same award, and that Neeld signed him for 3 years. There is clearly something very special about him.
  21. Malthouse got the best out of his teams. He is also a coach players would want to play under. He would be a big draw card for free agents. He is also the man who invented the game plan Neeld is trying to teach us. We may not have been or could be any better under him, but experience and success speaks for itself. It also generates interests and support, of the financial kind. If he was available last year, we would have chased him, as would every other club who was looking for a new coach. It's just bad timing, especially because nobody wants to see Carlton succeed. Neeld may be just as good as Malthouse one day, but Malthouse comes with a better level of guarantee if you like. Anyway, this is a bit boring now. Fair to say I would prefer Malthouse to coach us. Or Ross Lyon. But I'd also like a house made of gold filled with shoes, and that ain't gonna happen. But one can dream
