  1. Yes it is. Go into MY CONTROLS. Under OPTIONS (left hand side column), select MANAGE IGNORED USERS. This function is very underrated IMO. If you don't like someone and you put them on your ignore list, it saves a lot of nasty arguments and makes your time on this site more pleasant. Go nuts!
  2. Next week's headline: "Demon trio arrested for starting a fight with a bull". The club will then release a statement: "as far as we know, our players were provoked and acted in self defense. The bull has admitted he started the fight. Our players are all in good health and looking forward to the rest of their trip in Afghanistan."
  3. Sumich because of the Judd factor?
  4. I promise you that what has happened over the last 2 weeks will not affect Brock's chances of being our captain one day. He may not be ready yet, but he will definitely be a contender in years to come. Many great captains have slipped up over the years and done stupid things... Carey, Cousins, NEITA... however their deeds did not make them any less successful as leaders. I think if we've learnt one thing from this whole European shenanigan, is that Brock and his mates need to do a lot of growing up. At 21, that's almost a given.
  5. Yeah, every other person on this board was saying that... Well done to Belly for polling the three. As I said in the Brownlow thread, it was great of the umps to recognise the perfect defensive game and reward the player accordingly.
  6. Club statement: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/Season2007/N...px?newsId=51672 They were provoked, but the fact that they can't steer clear of trouble is a problem. No charges were laid, and no laws were broken. Lets hope they don't decide to get intimate with any more police stations in Europe.
  7. As I said, his request for 3 years is over the top and doesn't really scream 'I love this club'. However, I find it distasteful that we all jump off his bandwagon before he's even left the building. He looks likely to leave, which I am sure will upset a lot of Melbourne supporters, so comments like "drives him over the the Dogs", to me anyway, seem pointless. He is a B&F winner, a leading goal-kicker, and a leader. Whether he stays or goes, he has done a lot for this club and we should acknowledge his contribution with some respect. I know you weren't trying to be offensive though, probably just tongue in cheek
  8. Such nasty comments and he hasn't even left yet! He's given us many years of great service. Can we just lay off the digs for now, or are we turning into Richmond?
  9. Very good of the umpires to recognise Belly's brilliant effort vs. Adelaide. That was the perfect defensive game! Robbo looks unhappy/asleep as he scores 3 votes versus the Magpies. *yawn*
  10. Just polled 3 against Melbourne... hopefully next year he's polling 3's AT Melbourne <_<
  11. Such arrogance. Nobody vote for him!
  12. The point is, that not everyone knows the full list of moderators so they can't make a fully informed selection. It was just a suggestion.
  13. Jarka, if you want to do the best mod awards this week too, you should put it in a separate thread with a poll, since there are a lot of mods who go unnoticed. If you set it up in a poll, it means that everyone gets an equal chance to get a vote.
  14. I've looked all over the internet, and found no mention of said incident. So I might close this thread and once more information becomes available, I'll reopen it. Edit: re-opened in light of more confirmation.
  15. I didn't hear it, and so I hope it's not true. But FFS, are they attempting to get into trouble at every country they visit? Pathetic stupidity, but hopefully it's not as serious as report.
  16. It makes sense, but the way you wrote it out, was confusing. Will pick 4 + pick 10 + player x be enough?
  17. Ok then... I don't think I've ever met a Melbourne supporter who had such strong negative feelings about Robbo! Ha, not quite! But yes, Robbo has been a favourite of mine for a long long time. I never want to see him play for another club, but he does not deserve 3 years. If he doesn't want to accept the 2, he can go. I love Melbourne more than I love any individual player.
  18. So in essence we get pick 10, not pick 5?
  19. How does trading/keeping Robbo affects you personally? Isn't this about whether or not trading him helps improve our list in the short and long run? I'm so confused!
  20. ... and Essendon. There are whispers surrounding every club, because to put simply, there are young, impressionable players at every club who are overawed by their new paycheck and lifestyle. No club is immune from drug use, and I can't see how Judd would be able to judge whether a club is, or isn't involved with drugs.
  21. On the contrary, given they have lost their best defender, and that Buckley is looking at retirement, they'll want to bounce back quickly with the signing of Judd. Nothing will stop Collingwood throwing everything they have at Judd. I can't see them not being the favourites after they meet with him. They have everything to offer Judd, even if they have little to offer the Eagles. At the end of the day, if Judd has his heart set on Collingwood, he'll go to Collingwood. Worse case scenario, he'll end up at Richmond (it's a lose-lose for us).
  22. Stay off the drugs kiddies!
  23. I know he's not a ruckman, that's what I was pointing out. Jamar is useless as a KP player, and he does very little around the ground, but he can ruck. Therefore, he is better than McDougall and is one-dimensional, instead of non-dimensional! Miller was my second offer. Robbo + Miller + Pick 21 for Pick 5?
  24. Essendon is not a clean club. There is no such thing as a 'clean' club.
