  1. This is the perfect example of what happens when you treat individuals within an organization with so much contempt. Every other club has just about tanked in its time. None have been caught out or investigated. So what's the difference between us and other clubs? Well we are dumb enough to involve every man and his dog in confidential decisions, and we the go and treat these people like crap, giving them enough of an incentive to stab us in the back. I have neither positive nor negative feelings about our board. They have done some good, and they have done some bad. But the absolute unprofessionalism that we continue to show is just staggering. We are a multi million dollar business being run like a [censored] amateurs kindergarten. He said, she said, he was unhappy, hey everyone let's talk about tanking with the entire footy department, and their cousins. Let's [censored] people off, and watch them return fire. And then let's keep the same stinky fish at the table. Seriously, we may not always invite these epic disasters that seem to follow us, but we sure as hell do nothing to make them better either.
  2. When you treat so many players like crap, it comes back to bite you in the arse. We are in deep sh!t and its infuriating. We can't even lose properly. Could we be anymore unprofessional?!
  3. Hands up who doesn't count the days between one epic Melbourne disaster and the next? It's just a joke that at every turn there is a little man hiding in the bushes waiting to punch us in the nuts. Never wishes an injury on anyone, but Brock McLean, I hope you break both your thumbs Twittering. Knobhead.
  4. Good luck to Cale. I just hope he has a lot less horrible, tasteless, mean spirited gutless supporters to deal with at West Coast.
  5. You hate Martin, we get it. FFS how about showing some respect to somebody who tried hard while wearing a Melbourne jumper? Just wish him luck and move on.
  6. I may be angry, crazy and delusional, but at least I'm not a Richmond supporter. Good luck to all those delisted, and especially Bennell with his recovery. Thanks for the memories, but the end was inevitable.
  7. Not if you're the big boss counting the dollars. As a supporter, it pisses me off, but as a person who lives and works in the real world, I get it. We need to get better as a club before we are afforded such luxuries, because like it or not, we have no pulling power and our brand is shizen. Even when they are crap, Collingwood pulls numbers and ratings. We don't. The only way to fix it, is hope our club can finally get its sh*t together and start winning some games, instead of being a laughing stock. Nobody wants to watch a loser.
  8. I know how much we pay to advertise our brand during a Friday night match. Frankly, given that even Melbourne supporters could hardly stand watching the garbage we served each week, it's no surprise they won't feature us. This is the biggest revenue pulling game of the week, and our ratings based on last year would be horrendous. Hate it all you want, but the AFL is a business, making it's money from TV rights. We may disagree with the fairness of the draw, which is not actually a draw but a marketing exercise, but that's the reality.
  9. Again, it's fine to trade them but why for no return? I mean Martin is an agile tall coming into his peak. And we traded him for some 50cent coins and a hot dog.
  10. Another last minute stupid trade for picks we won't use. WTF is the point?
  11. Ummm I said he becomes ONE MORE coach to [censored] us. Bailey did too. For me, it's not about who we lost, because except for Rivers (who we wanted to keep), the rest are average players at best. It's what we got in return which I question.
  12. This trade period will make or break Neeld. He is doing whatever he wants and that's his right. If it works, great. But if it doesn't, he becomes one more coach to totally [censored] us and our list.
  13. If we end up keeping guys like Bate after we threw away Morton for nothing and Gyberts for not much more, I'll spew. I was starting to warm to Neeld...
  14. I've been very happy with everything we have done so far in the off season, but this trade is an absolute joke. We spent pick 4 and invested years in Morton to essentially give him up for nothing. Why sign him for 2 years last year Neeld, only to dump him for nothing a year later? Stupid decision and reeks for our coaching department having no confidence in their ability to develop some players. Same for Gysberts. To give these guys up for little to nothing is madness. We paid more for Rodan FFS!
  15. They better get the Demonland server nice and strong for this game. If we lose, this place will implode. If we win, this place will... well... implode with deluded unrealistic declarations of success.
  16. I thought Michael Clark will be an awesome footballer. Don't remember who he is? Don't feel bad, I'd have forgotten him too if it wasn't for a function in which he told me he broke both his arms "in a toilet incident". Worst. Prediction. Ever.
  17. If Mitch Clark wins us a premiership, he can tattoo me anywhere he likes. In fact, he can just do anything he likes. Period.
  18. Losing Jurrah just felt like the last straw. I think I spend most of the following month just wanting to forget about footy. It really was the nail in the coffin of 2012. I'll feel sick if I ever watch him in another jumper. It's just so wrong and so unfair! I cried when Farmer left, and I was gutted to lose McLean who was my favourite player at the time (he has now been downgraded to [censored] status). But by far the shittest feeling was losing Junior, who I knew was treated like crap. It made me sad, but it also made me resent the club. I hope we never ever treat anybody like that again.
  19. Another thing the AFL has [censored] up. What a shocker.
  20. Yep, Dustin Martin minus the bogan redneck gene.
  21. Poor Leigh Matthews, he shall never live his "Hudson is better than Clark" call. Makes me LOL to this very day.
  22. I voted based on what I think we'll get in return. However I would trade them and their grandmothers for a good deal.
  23. If nothing else, we are trying. But then everybody gets a ribbon for participation.
  24. Clearly in good enough condition for another club to give him 2 years. I doubt Geelong didn't request a medical. I'm sure Rivers left for success, and maybe because he saw what happens to players over the age of 29 at the MFC. But if he wanted to stay and all he was offered was 1 year, and he just finished top 5 in our B&F, than I question the motives. Hope he left on his own free will and not pushed.
