The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Little Richard replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
It would be ignorant to assume that it would just be Fremantle trying to court Hogan anyway. His manager would be receiving plenty of approaches. -
Billy Stretch Appreciation Thread
Little Richard replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
His work rate is sensational. Runs bloody hard and makes good decisions. He'll be a fixture on the wing for years to come I hope. -
Pathetic reporting! Did this gimp even watch the incident?

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Little Richard replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Isn't that just a win/win scenario? -
They'll both get off. The first time I saw the Mitchell incident it looked like a closed fist jab to the jaw, but from another angle you can clearly see it's open palm and not that hard. Jack was giving it to him first, anyway.
-
The price for Hurley would be hard to meet. Dogs still have their first rounder for this season, don't they? I'm not sure we'd be able to get him here unless the deal involved a very good quality player leaving the MFC.
-
I'd like to see him break into the seniors and do well, but at the moment he is one of our best prospects as trade bait.

Could Jack Watts become our next captain?
Little Richard replied to MrBurns's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jack doesn't need the captaincy. He can lead in his own way, and should remain focussed on his game. -
THE MOST AWESOME POST MATCH THREAD EVER!!!

THE MOST AWESOME POST MATCH THREAD EVER!!!
Little Richard replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
Looked like he definitely went the man and not the ball, and was pretty high. I only saw it a couple of times though so no in depth analysis has been conducted. -
THE MOST AWESOME POST MATCH THREAD EVER!!!
Little Richard replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
[censored] hell! Just got home after numerous celebratory froffies. What a win. Watts is a genuine gun, Viney is a star and our next captain, Oscar McDonald has a big future, Billy Stretch will play 200 games and we are a better team with Cam Pedersen. -
Best 22 for Round 1, 2017
Little Richard replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
Trolling surely? -
AFL Players Association would never allow/agree to this, but it's how it should be.

Weideman to make AFL debut against Hawks
Little Richard replied to AzzKikA's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ridiculous request Bossdog, I am positive that Saturday afternoon, no matter how Weed goes, some posters will [censored] can him. That's how this whole thing works. But I'm wishing the best of luck to him, and am looking forward to seeing him in action. -
The combined Jaeger O'Meara and Dion Prestia Thread
Little Richard replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
They need good players and Prestia is a very good player. He'll be a good addition for them if they can seal the deal. -
The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Little Richard replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
He said 'could take up to 6 months', which does seem a little strange but contract negotiations can take time. Call me a pessimist but I won't rest easy until he has put pen to paper. -
I honestly forgot about Pedersen. He's a much better option than Dawes if fit, and I do agree that Hawthorn probably isn't the team you want to blood a young player against. Especially a key forward.
-
Sounds like a complete 180 from his form at the beginning of the year. I'd like to see Hulett debut before Weideman, but not sure either will this week as Dawes was serviceable on Sunday.

Sam MaClure- "Hibberd to Melbourne, 4 year deal"
Little Richard replied to Rod Grinter Riot Squad's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hibberd would be a great addition, and you can probably add Vince to the half back group. Anyone know if Hibberd has played through the middle at all at Essendon? -
That club is a basket case. I love it.
-
Some of the best hands in close that we have, no doubt about it. As you say, a lot of those vital possessions are missed.
-
It definitely didn't affect his dominance in tap outs, he won those 60 - 9. Wasn't as effective in the air though.
-
As 'experts' constantly say, teams aren't at their best until there's an average of about 100 games from each player. By then most of them have obviously played together for quite a while, and we're a few years off that point. I think we're doing very well considering the age and games profile of the side.

Can't see Rance going anywhere.

One of our best runners, works bloody hard all day.
