I'm starting to think that Flamingdees has been around these parts before. Reminds me of someone.

This, as well as the fact that premierships are won in the middle and Gus is a huge part of our midfield going forward.

Nah, he just has no idea. Those three might form a formidable forward line one day, but realistically the young guys won't be firing for at least 2 years. -

Nice analysis. Hogan is a phenomenal prospect and we need to do everything we can to hold onto him. -

His recovery is such an unknown until he is seen playing - all of those guys you mentioned earlier might have bounced back from various, but I definitely don't want us to trade Hogan for an unknown. And as I said earlier, I wouldn't even want us to trade Hogan for a lesser version of the Fyfe that won the Brownlow. Personally I'd rather see 'Jones, Gawn, Viney, Vince and Hogan'. He'll be a huge drawcard in the very near future. -
To be fair, I don't think they're exactly spoilt for choice. The industry lures in all kinds of cretins.

That list is all well and good but is essentially pointless. None of those players have had plates inserted into their fibula, only to have the bone fracture again. It's a serious injury. When you're talking about trading two of the highest commodities in the competition, this kind of thing is a big factor. I personally wouldn't want the club to trade Hogan for an even slightly underdone Fyfe. -

Fyfe for Hogan sounds like the best possible trade outcome, but I have serious concern over his injuries. Further to that, he's a WA boy so is the likelihood of him leaving actually very high? It's all just whispers at the moment. This whole thing is a rollercoaster, but for some reason I have a growing feeling that Hogan will sign. -
PF's replacement for Oscar McDonald perhaps?

Odds are that he wouldn't leave them, seeing as he is a WA boy and has flourished under Lyon. But he'd have to be the asking price for Hogan IMO. If it comes to that, we play hard ball and go for Fyfe. -
What's his goal for next season?

Amazing stuff, and an enormous insult to Jesse Hogan, who might I add is currently a Melbourne player. -
Schoenmakers had a pretty bright future once upon a time. Now he is a genuine spud. He's a quality midfielder (as shown after they stopped playing him in the wrong position this season), has plenty of experience at the pointy end of the season and his age fits into a bracket where we are sorely lacking. I'd love to have him at Melbourne.

I'm sure they've looked at this but Dunn would be more desirable, has more strings to his bow than Garland. I'd be surprised if there was any interest in Garland.
-
So... any trade whispers? Anyone?
-
That would be a very good outcome for us.

Anderson really can't lose by saying that. More rubbish. -

If Fremantle are the big time, I'll eat my shoe. We're on the way up, they are in free fall. -
The footy department isn't going to make decisions on sympathy or any other emotion. They've re-signed Trenners because that was the best option for the club, and because they see improvement in him (that we'll see next season). I've got total faith in them and Jack himself, he's a guy of immense character and if anyone can come back from such a shite injury and reinstate himself as a regular AFL footballer, it's him.

You don't need to, the club has it all sorted pf. Don't worry yourself.

Overs IMO. Hanley is a good player but goes missing a bit. Hell, I probably would think about it if our first rounder was 18 though

38 for Dunn would be a great result for us, but I'd much rather we trade Garland.
