How do we get Prestia AND Hibberd to the club?
Little Richard replied to watchtheeyes's topic in Melbourne Demons
Talking about Hibberd, who I think is virtually already a lock. Don't mind this scenario Stuie. ANB is continually tearing it up in the VFL and seemingly can't get a game in the firsts. But, is he what GC are looking for? -
Surely Hunt Deserves a Rising Star Nomination
Little Richard replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Lets not get too carried away. Dangerfield is currently the best player in the competition and Hunt has played a handful of games. That speed is breathtaking and his courage and dare are great to see, but lets not put too much expectation on the kids shoulders just yet. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MITCHELL WHITE
Little Richard replied to The Red Fox's topic in Melbourne Demons
Pretty fair point, Tim. That performance slipped my mind and it does appear that Dunn and Garland have been surpassed by Wagner, White etc. I can't help still having a soft spot for Lynden Dunn though. -

Would rather Dunn, he adds more penetration with his kicking and I could see him being a good matchup for Membrey or Bruce. -
The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Little Richard replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
And I think we've seen plenty to show that he is a very serious footballer. -
Retaining Watts and Kent isn't an issue. That will happen. Keeping our quality bookends in Hogan and McDonald is far more important and if we don't, it'll set us back quite a way. I think Tom will sign, but it needs to happen soon!
-
Great to see Kent become an important part of a forward line that has gone from ineffective rubbish to very potent. Add that elusive second tall foil for Hogan and we'll be even better.
-
Disgusting practice.Good to see both unscathed though, ready to start training in September and don the red and blue later in the year.

Not much in it about Hogan really. Good to hear that Deano and hopefully the others, seem to know the importance of beating teams like Fremantle. Also great that it sounds as though he's keen to sign! -

Half would have restraining orders out against them. A few probably do. -

Anything reinforcing your opinion? Because if anything, recent comments are indicating that he's more likely to stay... -

We'll win this week. -
That's very interesting. If I had to pick his best game of the season, Collingwood early in the year would stand out for me.
-
Watts? Played really well but he's definitely played better games.
-
I hope Mitch White is in this bracket too. He has been solid all year at Casey and the one game he played at the end of 2015 was very impressive. Also a quality user of the ball, which we desperately need, especially at half back. Hope to see him at some stage this season.

Interesting words from Lyon. The fact that they're also pin pointing the draft as the way to go for the rebuild, hopefully tells Jesse that they're a few years away from being serious competitors again. That's also strange territory for Lyon - he's used to bringing in recycled and mature players and then bailing before the list hits the wall. -
Spot on. That would be a fantastic result for us, but would it happen? Would be a controversial move, that's for sure.
-
Fairly sure the Pies supporters were still booing Dawes on QBD.
-
That's a blow for H and the club. Hopefully he can regain full health, and when he does that, needs to learn to not run around like a headless chook when he gets the ball. Watching Casey on Sunday, the amount of times he got the ball and ran straight into a couple of Richmond players was ridiculous. He has regressed, and I'm sure the concussion has not helped at all.
-
Rohan has more pace and X factor than any of those guys but I wouldn't want the injury risk. Still struggles to get on the park consistently.
-
Overstating his abilities would be to say that he is great at what he does. He's a defender, and for the most part he defends well. His decision making is obviously sub par and he is prone to brain fades. Overall though, he is good at what he does and I'll stand by that. He'd be a big loss and I truly hope we hold onto him. Improvement in decision making will come with maturity.
-
The issue is that a lot of people (and one in particular) fail to actually see that he is good at what he does.
-
Packaging off TMac and OMac would be a dream come true for you PF, wouldn't it? McDonald is required, required, required!
-
Someone with pace would be nice. I'd much rather keep McDonald though.

Stuie's response might have been a bit over the top, but to be fair the whole 'house in Perth' thing has been discussed to death on here already, and multiple people already posted that news in the past week. Could be a good idea to have a quick read of the thread before posting something like that for the hundredth time.
