  1. Did anyone notice the giant penis hanging down on Roosy's whiteboard. Not sure if it is symbolic of CP5's debut, is a permanent marker from CS WW days or is something new they intend to bring out this Saturday. Anyway I plan to be there for the debut and I will report if I see any big or enormous things. Here's hoping ?
  2. Prescient post Redleg. And yes, another horrible disappointment!
  3. Foxsports saying Pies have three easy games coming up: 'Now with games against St Kilda, Melbourne and Essendon to come, the Magpies have a chance to launch a season that looked like careering out of control at stages of last night.'
  4. Agree. Never seen Frost do anything really and Kennedy looks VFL standard. But Max, Clarrie, Hoges and some others going alright. Early days. Hope AB injury is not season ending cos we will really need him.
  5. Me too. Running up Anderson St today, strained my calf. Bugger! Reckon I'll be off legs for 4-6 and in the rehab group. I promise there will be no frisbees for me or my dog and I wont Insagram any of my body parts if I partake of any non Asada substances or are bored. Hope I won't miss the first game. At least they have escalators in the Members. Go Dees.
  6. I understand H had surgery on both ankles and is only this week cleared to start running. He hopes to be ready for Round 1. I believe these injuries prevented us from seeing him at his best during 2015. He has nominated himself as the surprise packet for 2016, let's hope he is one of several.
  7. It's fair to say Bucks at least had 2 years as an assistant under Mick M....though neither was stoked about the arrangements!
  8. Did anyone just watch the NRL GF. What a wonderful contrast to the absolute dribble we saw yesterday. The drama, the epic hits and team-work under incredible pressure was so far in front of yesterday. Oh well at least Hawthorn supporters continue to enjoy themselves. AFL news today is all about 4-peats, fun, fun, fun. Go Gill.
  9. Taberner and Sheridan not Afl standard. You just can't have these guys out there. We need to heed these lessons. Plus playing injured players is such a huge risk. Hawks look awesome. Assuming Weagles win I see a reversal in result, ie Hawks again. I did think to be fair Frawley played v well. Interest level next week will be pretty low.....from many of us I expect
  10. There's Silent Witness on BBC First Unfortunately its Dullsville at the G
  11. What exactly is 'football please' ?
  12. That number 32 for the Crows goes alright...
  13. Howe maybe doing a live audition, Probably shouldn't say that ?
  14. I would really like to support the team by attending the game but don't want to spoil it for my kids on Fathers Day. I expect we'll lose (and by some margin) so better I stay home and watch it on Foxtel, besides I hate the Dome. At home I can watch the first quarter and turn it off once the game is decided (recently that hasn't been all that long into the match). It's an important day to spend with your young kids and I don't want to be angry or upset. The result has nothing to do with them. But a miss-kick from Grimes or a weak effort from Watts will p^&* me off. Bound to happen so better not to be there or watch....gee I hope we can recruit some better players but this competition is just so fierce. I did feel this way before the Cats game and I never turned the TV off that day...kids were happy I was in a good mood too
  15. I did my occasional lunchtime run around the Tan today and on my way back to the City I saw a few Dees walking across the Melbourne Storm Rugby training ground. So I thought I'd dart across the ground too and maybe say hi and wish them luck for Sunday. I could see it was Bernie by himself following a small group consisting of Pedo, Newton and Crossy himself. Anyway as I ran closer to them I could see their heads down and there was a real sad vibe happening so I thought better of it and just kept running. I wondered why they were so negative and thought they might be catching the 'vibe' from us supporters. Of course I jump on here and now understand why...lol
  16. We are being positively smashed in the middle and have a slow team both in mind and leg. I am positive that it will be a large loss. I am positive we need better players.
  17. Remember we usually only put in one quarter of effort a game and I don't think that first quarter was it...,
  18. Gotta love the arrogance of Dorks supporters. Bloke at work was going tonight, i asked him who he was playing, said no idea its not that important. Betcha he knows its Port Adeaude now!!
  19. Though there's always the possibility of a training mishap !
