No it wasn't just you, Meggs thought exactly the same and yes the tackling was noticeably less physical than some of the training drills...

Punters reckon there are 7 teams gonna make it and there is only one spot from last year's group up for grabs (the Kanga's). We are 1 of about 5 sides considered likely. Rohan Connolly reckons he can make a case for all teams bar Brisbane to make the 8 A big footy punter 'told' me at the tennis that spot 8 is between Saints and Pies (which surprised me)...thought Dees will be 11-13. Our hopes are pinned on the realisation of potential. Until we consistently win the games where we are favourites, the footy world will not rate us.

Meggs and daughter combined forces for 15 and 16. Good fun...

Recently re-watched the 2016 Anzac Eve game against Richmond and Jeffy was fantastic and yes the crowd seemed big to me....vickers was hopeless.

Some of Meggs' Dees supporting acquaintances are fully convinced he's heading back to WA but for some strange and inexplicable reason Meggs believes he will re-commit to us. Anyway, Mr and Mrs Meggs are off to TIO Stadium for the big game and are looking forward to seeing our Number One man?

I can't imagine footballers 'tossing up' teams. Most have a single destination in mind and work towards it. I know a recruiter who was at and at Hirdy to take DP but James had set his sights on Dyson. Both great players and it would be fabulous if Dion wanted to join our resurgence.

Meggs played 1 game for Camberwell Under 19s and then a few years in E grade VAFA. However the pinnacle of my career was undoubtably playing footy alongside our current coach and including 2 finals .... in under 11s ?

Meggs and son on their way to E. Hate going to Docklands normally because we lately lose and the wait for the train after the game is a pain. Today Meggs is quietly confident of a good showing and it will be awesome to be there for the CP5 debut. Go Dees ?
