At Least I Saw a Flag

There were some boisterous GC supporters in the Blazer Bar in the members after the match. I got talking to 2 of them. Very attractive/friendly women. One was a GC player's mother. Her son (whose name i've forgotten) wasn't playing today. They were in good spirits despite the thrashing.

I suspect I'll be howled down but I would like the club to say that they are no longer pursuing him. Show loyalty/solidarity to/with the Brayshaw family. We wouldnt have got Gaff anyway.

I went to the Poos/Wees v Drug Cheats match yesterday. So many turnovers/skill errors!! Hawks won because they had 2 classy forwards - Breust and Gunston.

Regardless of the consequences to MFC, I was very glad to see the filth lose. I hate the filth.

Andrew's father is a Richmond supporter. His younger brother was also a Tiger, but changed his allegiances to MFC when he was pretty young. Dad wasnt too happy about that. But he (Dad) had the last laugh! PS. We won't get Gaff.

I have no confidence at all. Scheduled a "date" tonight instead so I don't have the disappointment of watching another ''crunch match" loss. Did the same thing last Saturday night. Hopefully when I check the scores I am pleasantly surprised.

Yes, the Salem goal was pretty similar, although the Geelong goal was done more easily and fewer links in the chain! I was also reminded of the Montagna goal at Etihad. And the Mcarthey goal for Freo at the G.

I've followed this team since 1968. Serial losers/disappointers. No wonder MFC is a laughing stock. There will be blah blah blah from the coach and players. How they're hurting/will learn from the disappointment etc. Hmm, I think I may have heard that before ...
