  1. Vince has been pretty poor this season. His efforts on Sunday were woeful. Not sure who should come in in his place. Maybe Hunt, but apparently he's not ready yet. Pedo is pretty much cooked and will be lucky to get another AFL game. Swans only have Franklin and McCartin as talls in their forward line, so I think Frost and OMac will have to do their best!! Pedo wouldn't help with Franklin ... too slow. JKH ... hmm. I'd prefer Kent to JKH. AVB ... good on him for persisting, but I don't think he's that great. Hopefully Melksham will be available. Poor Smith ... he's a real tryer. I hate to say it, but it's looking like Wagner might get the gig.
  2. There were some boisterous GC supporters in the Blazer Bar in the members after the match. I got talking to 2 of them. Very attractive/friendly women. One was a GC player's mother. Her son (whose name i've forgotten) wasn't playing today. They were in good spirits despite the thrashing.
  3. I suspect I'll be howled down but I would like the club to say that they are no longer pursuing him. Show loyalty/solidarity to/with the Brayshaw family. We wouldnt have got Gaff anyway.
  4. I went to the Poos/Wees v Drug Cheats match yesterday. So many turnovers/skill errors!! Hawks won because they had 2 classy forwards - Breust and Gunston.
  5. Regardless of the consequences to MFC, I was very glad to see the filth lose. I hate the filth.
  6. Hmm, not a one sided fumblefest featuring Carlton or St Kilda on a Friday night.
  7. Yeah, shut your stupid face McAveney.
  8. Rance dropped a mark, then tried to make up for it unsuccessfully. McAvaney gushing how good Rance is. You fool. At least wait until he does something good.
  9. Does Selwood ever get pinged for holding the ball? That's 2 already that the umpires have let go.
  10. I hate the filth ...
  11. Good on avb coming back. But really ... he's not that good. I saw a lot of his matches ... he's an OK player but hardly the second coming !!! ps. ? I have adopted brace position in anticipation of the responses to this post !!
  12. Andrew's father is a Richmond supporter. His younger brother was also a Tiger, but changed his allegiances to MFC when he was pretty young. Dad wasnt too happy about that. But he (Dad) had the last laugh! PS. We won't get Gaff.
  13. Perhaps there should be a poll as to whether there should be a poll?
  14. Great post. I remember at the time thinking TMac was lucky that it wasn't called a throw. Thankfully it wasn't !!!
  15. Yes, I just corrected my post. Cheers bro.
  16. Thank god!! FWIW, the last quarter was actually very very similar to last week - main difference being the cats kicked 8.0 and crows kicked 3.7
  17. I hate the filth. I begrudgingly admire them. Not their supporters though.
  18. Thanks Dr D. I won't however post the outcome. A gentleman never tells !!! P.S. Sadly the lady is a filth supporter.
  19. I have no confidence at all. Scheduled a "date" tonight instead so I don't have the disappointment of watching another ''crunch match" loss. Did the same thing last Saturday night. Hopefully when I check the scores I am pleasantly surprised.
  20. I'm sorry for De Goey. Despite the sympathy I have for the young man, it in no way detracts from my hatred of the filth.
  21. "The past is a foreign country. They do things differently there." L.P. Hartley, The Go Between.
  22. Yes, the Salem goal was pretty similar, although the Geelong goal was done more easily and fewer links in the chain! I was also reminded of the Montagna goal at Etihad. And the Mcarthey goal for Freo at the G.
  23. For the enjoyment of Demons' apologists. You know "the team tried", "we were the better team" "you couldn't do better" etc
