  1. Wow, just saw that. That's absolutely heartbreaking.
  2. I think at the moment it's hard to go past Fyfe; there's not really anything that he doesn't do exceptionally well. This isn't taking anything away from Ablett, but Fyfe's form at the moment is just unbelievable.
  3. He could well be over 30 votes already, with 9 matches still to play. He's a freak.
  4. Pretty simple I'd think: In: Hogan, Garland, JKH Out: Dawes, Bail, Riley
  5. 6. Vince-- How good is Bernie? He should be in All Australian discussions. 5. Jones-- Jones-Vince-Gawn is an awesome combo in the middle 4. Gawn-- Inspiring first half. Played with confidence all game. 3. Brayshaw-- We've found a special one here 2. Dunn-- Always seems to go okay against the Cats; today was no exception. 1. Viney-- Went head to head with one of the best players in the game, and beat him.
  6. I think I'll avoid watching this one due to general soreness...
  7. Tapscott's first ever game against Sydney was one of the best debuts that I can remember seeing. Unfortunately for us, he never played a better game than that. That being said, comparing LT and JT is like apples and oranges. Completely different players, bodies, positions, and skills. It's like comparing Jack Watts to Jack Viney.
  8. I think and hope that Roos will give ANB a couple of weeks to try and pick up the pace of AFL football. Out: Pedersen, Grimes, Michie In: Dawes, Bail, M. Jones *These are the changes that I expect to see, not the changes that I want to see.
  9. Well deserved. Now bring on the offseason! Hoping that the Leafs can pull some trading magic to land Connor McDavid, who is tipped to become one of the greatest of all time. Unfortunately, it's more than likely that he'll become an Oiler, as they've got pick #1 yet again...
  10. He'd be in the J. Christ mould.
  11. I'm not against holding on to high picks, but it is definitely worthwhile putting them on the table and seeing what is offered up.
  12. Interesting twist tonight with no Ben Bishop for the Lightning. Vasilevskiy in net in his place.
  13. The Lightning are looking good, though I still think it'll be Chicago in 7.
  14. This was around the time everyone was paranoid that he was going to request a trade to be with his mate at GW$, no?
  15. Agreed. They'd have to be pretty homesick and we'd have to offer contracts much larger than the other Vic based clubs are willing to pay them (bar maybe Carlton and St Kilda).
  16. Give it a rest, mate. You don't need to pick apart other people's training reports every single time someone else starts a training thread. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but doing this discourages people from sharing what they saw at training. People, including myself, enjoy reading your reports and input, but when you carry on like this it makes you seem really petty.
  17. This is ridiculous. They're essentially saying Vickery is = Shiel. This is the same Vickery that's struggling remain in their best 22.
  18. The Tigers are one of the teams that Watts seems to consistently perform well against (at least from memory). Hopefully he can redeem himself this week and help us continue our recent (relative) domination over the Toiges.
  19. If I'm not mistaken, the last time we beat Hawthorn it put us on top of the ladder. I think that was also the last time we were on top...
  20. I'd rather play Pedersen.
  21. 6- McDonald 5- Viney 4- Salem 3- Cross 2-Hogan 1- Brayshaw
  22. They went okay without him last year.
  23. I rate Pedersen more highly than I rate Dawes. Although it won't happen, I'd like to see: In: Pedersen, JKH Out: Dawes, Frost
  24. Hopefully we'll be able to go deep in a finals series or two in the near future to help his tally along
  25. I'm also a massive fan of Pedersen. I'm aware that I'm in the minority, but I'd rather have him than Dawes every day of the week.
