I'd quit my job at the MFC if they traded in Daniher.

I'm not sure really How I feel about this in terms it if being a wise move. Time will obviously tell. But I decided yes because I love that it is a bold move that ensures if nothing else tbat we will be the only thing discussed all day tommorow on trade radio. Also I find it amusing to think of the critics of the dees not being able to work out how to criticise the move.

Here's my tip. We will trade in jenkins tommorow. For a third round pick. And crows will pay part of his salary.

As rjay notes Fritsch up forward all season. I could see him averaging two goals a game. And melksham will add 20 odd goals to the mix if fit. To be honest I'm not sure where i stand on Bruce and jenkins, though I'm more concerned about our lack of a gun small forward.

I don't care what he said. Tmac was clearly carrying an injury and also did not look fully fit. In tbe first third of the season he had a turning circle of a bummer and couldn't jump properly and struggled to collect the ball off the ground. He looked much better after the bye and started to play much more like he did in 2018 - running well and really extending to grab his marks. Then he got injured. Agree things were made more difficult by Hogan not taking the best defender. And by weed being well out of touch. But if tmac is at full fitness I'm confident he will get back to his 2018 form.

Well at the moment why would a club show their hand?. The longer it goes the more desperate the crows will become. And besides what are they going to ask him - ' given you are employed by crocmedia are likely to continue to leak sensitive information to your employer and media contacts . Who knows if true but I suspect it is (and I doubt that is the only issue) based on no clubs wanting him, pyke dropping him repeatedly when in form and there being a physical altertaction between him and pyke. For what it's worth I think a club, perhaps even the dees, will pick him up late tommorow. Too good a player for him to sit out football but the main reason is he will be a bargain. The crows will be desperate to off load him as if they can't his salary will go to there cap, so will probably take a third round pick and agree to pay some of his salary.

All that might be true. But we are not making a call, nor are other fans. Professional recruiting teams are. And atm the evidence is that despite being a two goal a game kpf who can mark has not been picked up. I'm surmising they have more informations than Joe public.

I mean if he is getting out a club and team mates he has played with for years he isnt going to have much loyalty to a xlub he has been at 5 minutes.

As I have posted hill is exactly the player we need. But to be honest I doubt we could afford him. With ablett, danger, the hawk and Sellwood approaching the end their careers the cats could I suspect. That's a lot of cap space in those four players. They might need our pick 3 though.

It is great for the AFL. But also for all the clubs in it. It is super important for suns and giants to be successful. Too much investment already anfms in rbe future for it to fail. A good sign king commiting. No doubt they are selling to a bunch of really talented young men that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of group that saves and builds an AFL club. Leaving aside any assessment of OMac's ability (though it is worth noting the club chose to give him anorher contract and Mahoney was happy to trade everyone's new pin up frost, in part because in his words we had coverage down back, including omac) he plays for the dees. Presumably we could trade pick 3 and say a second round pick next season (or a player this year like hunt) for king and one of gc's first round picks (obviously not one and two but they have 15 and presumably will get another for martin) Which we then use this year.

Perfectly sums up my perpective on Salem. People talk about trac needing to live up to his potential. I'm more concerned Salem won t to be honest. Both need to get fitter as a priorty which is why it was realy pleasing to read a week or so back on dl that rhey are self fundong a trip to colorado to do fitness training

The irony is that in fact we are far from a basket case. Our board is as stable and solid as it has been in decades. An internal review has seen significant change carried out in a professional, measured fashion, tge exec is solid as is fd. No players wanted out. And one again mahoney has been a total pro at trade time and achieved most of its stated aims wirh a minimum of fuss. You want a basket case look at the crows atm. Despite their wealth and resources they are a mess, with players wanting out, coach quitting before being pushed and key personnel being sacked during the trade period when they are trying to retain and attract players. On a related note where do the posters who so vociferously pushed the mfc in crisis line a couple of months back stand atm?. You know the ones who warned of player dissatisfaction, players wanting out, (gleefully) supported false rumours about goody being sacked, jumped on Barrera silly comments about sliding doors and meetings wirh tge afl, pointed out the coaching and fd changes as evidence of crisis (whilst also arguing changes had to be made) and warned no players would want to come to us.
