All of which is just filling in the finals time in our absence. How about reviewing after we have a coach (3 hours from now) and a list. 🤔

Geelong do it somehow. Maybe there are some hidden market gardens near Linton Street?? Culley, in his limited exposure, has done quite a bit forward, and can grab a decent mark.

Sadly didn’t do enough at Casey to demand promotion. His career will be remembered for one fantastic match saving tackle but little else.

Good luck to him but seriously he does not look like a top 26 player if everyone fit and well. That said he is strong, hard working and hard at it - a handy back up at best. As the late Charlie Kirk would ask - prove me wrong Aidan. I would love to be proven wrong.

Any thoughts from those who know if Ricky Mentha has any chance of filling that role in the next year or two?

My favourite Frosty memory was in a game v Carlton (maybe 2017 I think) with the game on the line when a galloping gazelle streamed across half back and ran forward dodging opponents and saving the game. A wonderful sight. Had he been able to replicate this regularly and predictably he would have been a keeper. Thanks Frosty - always a favourite even in the poo and wee colours.

I wish him well and if he has the talent and speed that VFL watchers see, I look forward to him progressing. If he can be anything. like his mentor we would have a gem.

Some new but also a lot more need to be reinvigorated and hopefully a new dynamic coach will help with that. A new belief that we can score more than the opposition rather than that they can be held to less. I realise that both sides of the equation are equally important but it has seemed for a while that scoring has had less emphasis than defending.

Jai clearly has talent and shows strength and versatility and marks well above his height. I am looking forward to him as a midfielder, wing or HF. Work hard Jai - you can play a huge role in us getting where we want.

I wish his all the best but it is a high hill to climb. But never forget that Nev Jetta too quite some time to establish himself and became one of our very best small defenders in a long time. Give it you best, Andy, though I am sure you don’t need me to say that.

North are in deep decline and would be an obvious relocation, Saints not far behind. But Hawthorn, despite having AFL Tasmania on their logo have too much financial power, and a new training ground, to be pushed over Bass Strait. We could if course relieve them of the training facility as they head south 🤔🤔🤗🤗 And why are Melbourne exempt? Can’t have a national competition without a team with the name MELBOURNE

Geelong for several years were “too old”. Unfortunately they have proven to be too old, too slow, too good.

Agree 100% Those in charge of the game remain, as have their predecessors , to have an ongoing commitment to ensuring continuing success for the marquee clubs. Any of the “also rans” have to get their on their own merits.
