Seriously, why would one select H? Hunt and Wagner, and maybe a returning Salem offer far more and don't run around like headless chooks. Garland is a worry - for a senior player panics, or just does't think far too often but who would replace him? Frost? On the Casey thread I asked those who saw both games who they think should be in or out, if indeed any changes are needed.

So, for those of you who actually saw the Casey game, and saw the Dees game, who if any is "knocking down the door" for MFC next week, matched up v Dogs?

Watts played his role - took defenders away leaving space. Not everyone can kick a bagful in a massacre. Jesse did much the same, with two defenders.

I guess that is what others said of us over recent years. You can only beat those who come out to play against you.

Just watching the second half having watched the first half live last night. I haven't seen pace like that off HB for ages, and unlike anothe well known senior runner off HB does not look like a headless chook. Disposal is improving. IMO offers more than H as well as being part of the future.

Let him rest a week or two or three if needed. Just get him right.

Good luck to him for a long overdue return. It must be incredibly frustrating for him not quite getting onto the park. I think we should all sit back and watch how he goes: many, myself included, remain skeptical regarding his body's ability to see out more than a few games, but he does deserve our support while he tries. Where does he fit in? At best a competitive CHF who may try a few ruck contests, enabling the likes of Weideman and Huelett to develop in the seconds without being pressed up too early. Doing at least a bit - ?10 - 15 minutes - of ruck work would enhance his chances of senior selection. Good luck Chris.

Yes I am [censored] off at having to play a home game there against a club whose home ground that is....if that is your petition I would sign it. It actually defies logic, and supports my premise that the AFL should fund the staging of all games, and distribute the takings now that few clubs actually have home grounds. To nominate us playing Saints, NM or Foitscray, or EssUndone or Carlton there is as absurd as us playing away games v EssUndone at the G.
