Correct LDC. I don't go to any games at the G against Pies /Tigers just too hard. As the saying goes every cloud has a silver lining.

Similar to myself LH. My membership just renews automatically and will continue till my end. I go to a number of games each year depending on what else is happening on particular weekends. Beyond that I expect little from the MFC beyond the hope we will play finals. I sincerely don't expect a flag now in the years I have left.

The only way to think of a MFC membership is that it is a chartible donation. It is the only way to maintain your sanity. If you try to attach any value to it then you are doomed to disappointment.

After much study and crystal ball gazingI think we will win 12 games in 2020 and scrap into 8th place. Win the first final and lose the second. It is hard to imagine we could have the levels of injuries as this year. Gawn will be a Dual captain with Viney, sadly he will once again miss a goal from 30 meters out in the dying minutes of the first game and see us go down by 3 points. The Weid will play 15 games and kick 25 goals. Pickett will play 14 games and win us the first final. Spargo will spend the year at Casey.

I agree Macca the earlier the pick the greater expectation. It trick is to judge when it is time to move on. the success rate of early picks is not high.

LN it is time he proved he can perform consistently at Senior level. The club has added a couple of options to the list for his spot in 2020. Suggests to me they are not convinced he is a certainty to hold down a spot.

Fester you don't understand that people want to be part of winners and don't want to be part of losers? Human nature at its finest. I would add that a lot of people have had decades of pain from the MFC, a large number don't want anymore. Understandable IMO.

Seriously! I know is a very long time since I played. My only interest was getting a game the number I wore meant nothing to me.

Why F5? I have no interest, the only interest I have is on game day. Who has what number means nothing besides identifying the player.
