So once in 54 years. I think 2020 looks a lot better year
  2. I received an email for the MFC yesterday saying I can bring a friend for free on Sunday. They must think the numbers going are going to be low. Probably because we are playing GWS and our form is ordinary on our best days this year. No joke with this but I asked a friend if he wanted to go and he said " will you buy lunch and a few beers"? Hmm rapidly becoming an x friend.
  3. I am still to make a decision about which game to attend. Depending on who ends up in the team I could go to this game. More to learn at this game about our chances in 2020 than attending the G. Decision time will be tonight when the teams are announced.

You are in a powerful positive mood there binman. I have one question. When has the the MFC done this type of thing in the last 54 years?
  5. They do have form L36. IMO If we had played him in the first game of the year we would have won that game. The bouncing Gawn all around the park that day would have been stopped.
  6. Look out the PC Police will get you.

Yes GYM I should have thought about it a bit longer.

Yep wise to kiss 2019 good bye as we are not going anywhere fast this year.

Its the only way a MFC supporter remains sane. To take the MFC seriously is folly of the highest order.

Oh god I hope I am not part of that 5mg LG!

An absolute cynic DV8 but to be honest I am not sure that the MFC is the major cause of it. I am sure the largest part is due to the ageing process. When you get to your later years and you see that the things you have railed against all your life have not changed and mostly got worse what is left but cynicism?

No got over being depressed about the MFC a few decades ago DF.
  13. Very good chook!

That has been the case all year and has failed to come up 8 times!
  15. So on the weekend when he continues to miss I will know I am in the same one I have been in since 1964. Oh my god in the other one we have probably won ten flags and I have missed the lot. Now where did leave the single malt?
  16. After reading that I feel like I am in some parallel universe. If I stay here do the Dees win the flag?
  17. In the basement under the pies castle?

Shows how much you can believe the injury list. One says indefinite and the other 2-3 weeks.
  19. DJ how can you live with yourself suggesting a site more than 5 mins from the G!!!!!!!!!!

No idea how you can at this point claim " we won on that trade" . we effectively got two players for Hogan. One had a bad history with concussion and is now out with that problem and marked as "indefinite" . The other has played half a game, has shown on more than one occasion he is less than 100% committed and is still out injured with 2-3 weeks still to go at this point. May might play well in 2020 but right now to call it a win is over the top.
  21. If only footy clubs were that magnanimous DJ. I could be proven wrong but I struggle to see anything over than the suburbs for the MFC.
  22. Why DJ? Why give a sucker an even break if I were the Pies or Tigers.
  23. Tough probably DJ but there is no where else close to the G. Appears to be there or the outer suburbs.
  24. I was 28 Mr Leg, but at least I knew her well. my youngest sister was only 10. Some times life ain't fair.
  25. My guess is a week before the next AGM.
