I am astounded that no one on this great thread noticed that May 1st was National Banana Day. An absolute disgrace!

The think that never ceases to amaze me in this world is that people fail to understand that there is no such thing as privacy any longer. Every person has a camera in the form of their phone. Everything is now recordable. Every single person in public life must surely know that anything they do will appear on the internet for all to see. Well I guess we are talking about footballers and most are not rocket scientists and with what now know about May it probably explains a lot.

Why do you need to drink at the footy? Aren't you there to watch the game? i almost never have an alcoholic drink at the footy, though the Dees make it almost necessary most weeks. Would you stay away if there was no drinking? It is there for the same reason as gambling - profits

We finally found some form on saturday or some players found some form. They say winning form is good form so unless there are any injuries I would not change the 22. Keilty deserves a second week, there is a considerable difference between the pace of an AFL game and the vfl. Give him a chance to adapt to the increased speed.

I am unconvinced. Sadly as I think he was what improved us out of sight in the last six weeks of 2018.

If we only win two of the next five before we get players back and then have come straight back into form we would have to win 8 of the last ten on your maths binman. I cannot see but if we did that then we would be in such good form getting to a GF would be possible. Just pinched myself yes I am awake. Looks way too hard to me when you are starting at 2-5 and have the likes of Collingwood and the Eagles to play twice yet.

Dreaming is one thing MFC fans are experts at doing after all if you practise something for half a century you would think you would have perfected it. Now back to reality, yes we won but look at who we have beaten, Swans and Hawks neither of which are going to trouble the finalists in 2019. It took the Hawks all day to fall over the line against a injury ravaged Carlton side last week. GCS are a chance next weekend, then we play WCE in Perth. GWS, Crows and Collingwood before the break followed by Freo at the G on 22 no June. IMO we have a chance against the Crows but until we get players back ( early July at best ) I cannot see how we will beat the other four. Unless we can get one or two of that four we can forget finals. Even then we have the job ahead of us.
