Agree with all that DS but how much longer are we going to wait? IMO 2019 year is the cut off, we have now been without a home for half a century in the words of 1970 "it's time".

Total cynical view DJ but the information seemed to come out just before the AGM last year. There was little comment at the AGM because " there was still negotiations going on" . Fixed for another year! As I have said elsewhere the desire to be close to the G is a very very large impediment.

Re Vic Park my understanding is that Yarra council have no interest in using Vic Park for anything other than local use. And why would the Pies want to go back there they have effectively replaced us in the central Melbourne area. They have a fabulous area now in the old Olympic area and more Government money coming. Every time I go by there I mentally weep. The MFC should be in there however we blew it so now we take the left overs what they are in the future who knows, but we need to do something very soon.

It may be common knowledge but why are the Hawks leaving Waverley? From the outside it seems to be costing a very large amount of money to move to Dingley and start from scratch.

Docklands was talked about on a number of occasions Ernest and it is still probably the only option in Central Melbourne. However that may be just as big a dream as Yarra park. For God sake make a move MFC, after half a century it is past time to act.

Not sure what to make of that RN. 2019 is a strange throw back year. The MFC seems to have regressed back to the bad old days both on and off the field. Oh well it is not as though it is a new experience. There is always next year.
