I agree with you RR means zip to me. Don't go or watch on TV, I have less interest than "State of origin" I always worry one of our players will get injured.

Is it just me or do others feel the same about trade week. There are as many stories as people who want to create them. I suspect that 90% of the stories we see are based on very little if any hard evidence. So I will believe a story when it is proved to be a fact. i.e. when a player is reported to have officially moved then it is fact up till then it just the figment of someone's imagination.

I reckon we lose out of that one.

Makes the most sense to me, port have probably the worst list in the league. Warnock would get a game most weeks in their side. God knows what the dees get but it maybe part of a 3 way deal. Would any other side be interested? Perhaps GWS as part of a deal for there 17 year olds.

Me too H_T It took Garland over a year to come back from a foot injury. It would surprise me to see nothing of Grimes till mid 2012. But better late than never.

Hardwick will be given an extension before the 2012 season gets under way. He has done IMO a very good job, Tigers were a lot better than the Dees is 2011.

HT I am not sure why you are so worked up. At no stage did I say that we should not chase him. I just don't see it happening . Not sure why I need to get out and smell the roses. The simple fact is the MFC has seldom been seen as being a top club. Us supporters IMO think that players are falling over them selves to come to the MFC. The reverse is actually the case. IMO There are better offers to Goddard than the MFC can put up at present. Other clubs can offer him a chance at a flag in the next couple of years and high salary. I do not believe the MFC can beat that offer at present.

Mate if you can sell that to Goddard you are in line for Steve Jobs position. Beside die hard Demon supporters no one else believes we will be playing in a GF in 2 -3 years. We are 5 years away from a GF, Goddard will be retired by then. Put aside your loyalities Would you join the MFC if you were Goddard? I would not there are better propositions around.

What I think I was suggesting was the MFC could not offer him a high salary or the opertunity to play in GF in the next few years. GWS would trump us on salary and a number of other side could give him the chance at a flag.

If you were Goddard why would you come to the MFC. At his age I would have thought that you would be looking to achieve one of two things. I chance at playing in a premiership or maximise your earnings. He will get neither at the Dees. At the blues he has a chance at a flag and GWS will pay way more than us. Of course he might get both at Freo and he knows the bloke there.

On SEN today they said Mclean was on $400 000. x 3 years = $1.2 million. I reckon I would play for the Bullants for that! You have to say that the Blues did their dough on this one. Just for once we did them over. YES!
