Agree BB. The list of players I would take for Jamar is very very small. IMO he is going nowhere in 2012.

I met Stuart Spencer a few times via an x MFC player friend. He was a truely nice guy. You cannot givemuch more than he gave to the MFC. We got close while Stuart was president but could not pull it off for him. Another legend of the MFC is gone. Go Dees or in his days it was probably "carn the redlegs"!

I have seen him a number of times at Casey Last year and this year. I have seen some good games and some poor ones. But the poor ones are getting fewer as the two seasons wore on. He is IMO improving all the time. He was out injured for quite a while in 2011 I am not certain he will make it at AFL level. However it is way too early to fling him. Not sure how many games he has played for casey but it could only be around the 30 mark at the max. If we can afford 50 games at AFL level for Bennell then surely the guy deserves a little longer. Get off his back guys.

rpfc I agree completely. Look at the pies in 2010. They bought in Ball and Jolly IMO those two moves made the difference. They might only play 3 seasons for the Pies. But they were the difference between being Finalists and Premiers.

100% correct. I have no idea how good our assistants were in 2011. At the end of the day they do not run out on the ground to play.

Jako it is all over now as in todays Hun he says he is staying at the Pies. We still need someone like him because Cook will IMO not make an big contibution before 2014 that is 2 season away. That of course assumes he makes it. Who is going to fill the position in 2012 /3 We need a seasoned forward now!

On the positive side DC we will not lose one game over the next 4 months. Think of that no defeats. Yes talk is cheap and unfortunately I have heard it all quite a few times in the past.

Thanks hardtack I was talking about Grimes. Green has played 241 over 12 years that is an average of 20 / season. I live for the day Grimes has that average. There would not be too many players in any team with a better average. Especially when you consider most of his years we have not played finals football.
