As a lot here know I have been a critic of our Weak Attitude as a club in lots of areas.
However I agree with you rpfc on this occasion.
There is much to play out here and in the Words of WYL "revenge is a dish best served cold"
Does anyone know who remains uncontracted?
My memory says
Wona, Dunn, Maric, Mcdonald and Green but there are no doubt others.
We now have one vacant spot, how many will be delisted?
Whatever chance there was of him playing again at AFL level just sailed straight out the window.
Definately all over, no more needs to be said about this waste of a great talent.
Casey reminded me of watching the Dees this year.
I agree 5 and 6 handpasses in a row, you are correct "fiddled with the ball more and more and got more indirect" that covers it.
I could not agree more DC how could you knock back a guarnateed 6 years at $1 miilion / year.
I cannot object to him taking the money.
I doubt any AFL footballer is worth that amount
Time will tell if he is worth it.
The pressure starts now Tom, GWS and the Media are going to be looking for extraordinary performances from here on
This is the last comment I make about Tom Scully he is now a GWS player good luck Tom
but you are now the enemy look out from here on when you play the Dees
Now lets just get the hell on with it MFC.
Agree with everything you have said WJ.
There are IMO bigger problems to fix at the MFC.
I think everyone should consider that in todays world a player's loyality is only as long as the contract.
Lots of MFC members on here want to trade existing players with contracts
so why should the players worry when their contracts are up.
Onward and upward.
Go Dees
PS remember we now have a lot more money left to use on recruiting
I agree Jungle dee.
I would have taken the money too.
In AFL football it can be all over with the one wrong injury.
Take the money while it is available.
Good luck Tom I hope it all works out.
For the MFC life goes on how many games has TS won for us.
IMO zero!
Now I am not certain but I thought he got 3 yeras at the end of 2009 and lasted one year after that.
But you do raise a good point and Carlton (sorry Mrs Pratt ) could afford to pay it out.
