  1. It seems a good chunder is more successful than tanking. Wonder if it breaches any AFL rules?
  2. I'm going to try to get to training on Friday. Is G's paddock much of a walk from Flinders St. - never been there.
  3. You'll be in trouble if the NRA are monitoring this site!
  4. Maybe. I'll have to take advice from Biffen on these dietary/health/clean living matters.
  5. Perhaps the"Fink" will be looking for an expert advisor.
  6. Congrats. I reckon you'd make a good china plate - for a septic tank.
  7. Don't forget to stop using terms like "Carltank" and " Meth Coast" when you do.
  8. I think the jury needs to continue its deliberations on this one. That McDonald is a talent is obvious but we have seen little of him yet. "Autocol" may well prove to be correct as McDonald's outstanding running and endurance certainly give him the ability to worry a defence into disarray. Indeed given that we now have some monolithic forwards his mobility might be a necessary balance.
  9. Fair point. He's a straight ahead player and a long penetrating kick so I'd like to see him coming out of half back - but I not sure he'd command a spot there. As to mid field - he'd certainly add grunt but has he the speed to usefully dispose of the ball under pressure and in traffic? I like his aggro and his strength but he will need to impress in the preseason to get a game first up if everybody is fit.
  10. Dear, dear Ben. Your intellectual rigor appears to be breaking down under the pressure of this argie bargie. You just employed a very poor simile that does nothing but reinforce outdated sexual prejudices
  11. No. Mohawk numbers are really dwindling and very few leave North America.
  12. Jamar has had one good season in about the last 5. I think being unable ( under the new rules) to use his body early will cruel him, however, others may differ on this point. His real weakness last season was that he could not direct his winning tap outs to advantage. Most times he seemed to tap the ball to his own feet. I think Spencer ( mobility and second efforts) and/or Gawn (marking power) will displace him.
  13. What I really like about the above debate, is that we are having a genuine discussion about who will fill the defence 6. It seems we may have actual competition for spots down back. I'm loving this as it demonstrates that we are becoming a professional unit.
  14. You mean those rumours about Victoria no longer being Queen are correct? The Christain brothers mislead me.
