Should Jack Viney consider amputating his toe for the team?
Ridiculous suggestion, it would create more problems in his foot than it would solve. However a bionic foot might be an option, amputating his whole foot and replacing it must only be 4 to 6.

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
Why would we rest anyone who is fit to play? The ladder is more volatile than Trump's twitter feed. Our absolute priority is to win at least 3 more games. Then we can think about what follows. Hogan causes headaches for the opposition and effectively won the game for us Saturday by winning his one on one. We just cant take the Suns lightly.

Post Match Discussion - Round 10
I have several theories: 1. I passed away 5 weeks ago and am now in Demon Heaven where we win every week. 2. They have discovered a cure mfcss ( unlikely as I still got worried when the Crows rallied at the start of the last) 3. We might be a good side (bearing in mind if Gawn had slotted that goal we would be 8-2).

The Curnow Brothers at the Tribunal
Good week for the AFL. A tribunal that is inconsistent. The rules being written by the Hawthorn coach. (How Gil allowed that memo to go out after the meeting being exposed is incomprehensible. At least consult the other coaches first and pretend there was consensus.)

Why is Nev invisible to the umps (and Match Review)
why is a low blow made intentionally assessed at one week only? It is dangerous and designed to incapacitate a player. I still can't fathom how they missed the deliberate punch to his head last week.

The Jesse Incident
Hogan gets chopped in the throat and its ignored. Jetta gets punched in the face and its ignored. Barrett and Co should do the right thing and apologise to Jesse.

Changes vs Gold Coast
Stevethemanjordan absolutely right. Gawn, TMac and Weid combo pack is proving very important. At some point we just have to back Weid in and let him develop. If Salem is fit that poses a dilemma (remember when we didn't have dilemmas) as does Garlett. I think the team could benefit for the psychological boost of not having many changes to what is seen to be a winning team that really places pressure on those on the fringes and increases our belief that we will prevail. ANB has to make way for Viney.

Changes vs Saints
I suspect he is a bit like most young men of his age (indeed as i was) and is still relaxed about things generally, of course we may be mistaking his chirpy relaxed and cheeky style to mean he is not putting in 100% however I suspect Goodwin would be onto that pretty quickly. I suspect the reason JW was moved on was that Goodwin felt he would always just rely on his talent and didnt push himself hard enough. Your view may also be generated from the fact we all know we haven't seen all of his upside yet.
