lol...oh dear, what a shockingly ill informed comment, i was watching without sound so didn't hesr the commentary. Shaw doesn't grate on me like he does others, but that's a terrible call.

The funny thing about Watts is the guy can actually play.

Haha..well said WYL.

What a night. What a bizarre range of emotions this club puts you through. And I wouldn't have it any other way,

Amen.

Surreal. Great. Next.

And then some.

Pedersen is just a tease.

I was tempted to bump this thread but didn't on account of him being off the table. Was sublime today though, and was gving Thompson an earful letting him know. Bookmark for 3 years time? Just about when the Suns are right in the mix..
-
Hardly surprising. He could get 50 touches and kick 4 goals and still not get a gig. I'm frustrated for him.

I still don't know what this thread is about..

I was debating this with someone (a Carlton supporter, go figure) who thought it was the right decision on the basis that Malceski had opportunity to dispose of the ball, faced the play, realised he had run out of options and walked backwards across the line (he was actually pushed but whose counting). I asked him if he thought the numerous other instances of players rushing behinds in similar circumstances were therefore all incorrect decisions, and he said he hadn't seen any others like it. At that point I ended the discussion.

It's a team that can get the job done, although Magner would've been well suited to this match so disappointing, again, not to see him selected. Skill level will be well below par. Desire will win this one. ...and Dunn being selected again I can't fathom.

Considering what he has to work with, I think he does a damn good job. It's not really a matter of credibility, as you know when reading his pieces, his task is essentially to shine up a turd. As an interviewer I think his understated style works well. He's not going to knock Robbo off in the charisma stakes, but he is fine, He must come close to holding the world record for the most times anyone has said "following the loss against" on screen, as in "I'm speaking to <Player X> following the loss against <Team X>" -
Where to from here??

It's a remarkable admission on the surface of it, in particular how relaxed he was about the whole thing. Talking about the unnatural amount of injections that were being administered and admitting to a banned substance in such a matter of fact way, yet adamant he'd done nothing wrong. He surely would've been under clear direction from the club on what to disclose. All has to come out eventually I guess.

"There's a strong argument," Gil McLachlan on a Priority Pick.

Does there ever come a point where a club is held accountable for the decisions it makes? Or do you just keep on throwing top end talent at them until they, hopefully, get it right? It hasn't helped us a great deal up until this point. I feel pretty conflicted on this issue and judging by the responses in this thread, I'm in the minority. When it comes to digging ourselves out of this hole, appointing the right people in positions of influence and some financial assistance is the bulk of the battle, I would've thought. I acknowledge that under the current system, we certainly qualify, and perhaps notions of deserving it are best left to one side. Anyhow, that's the last I'll say on it. -
Haha..i like your take on the blue to red. The only downside is that Frawley is all the way on the left where the Demon is asleep/depressed. Actually yeah, that works. If anyone deserves some success it's Chip.

There's so much to like about Toump. He's got a very good head on his shoulders, especially for his age. Has future leader written all over him.

I won't feel guilty about it, hell if it is the difference between us being competitive and another 7 years like the last 7, bring it on. There is no debating the fact we are shizen irrespective of how or why we got here. I'm just annoyed we're in this position and can similarly understand the annoyance of other fans at additional handouts being given, particularly Dogs fans. -
It was totally different in both content and style. As pointed out, he only singled out players when prompted, and there was a clear reluctance to place positive spin on the performance, despite it being easily one of the best of the year. It was the setting of a standard. At least say it was reminiscent of Neeld post Round 1 in 2012, that would be closer to the truth. It just seems like you're sticking to our guns re Neeld, that's fine. I don't really see the point of it seeing as he's gone. But you're arguing black is white in this instance.

Banner looks great. Well done.
