  1. He is ok. He has no hurt factor though. He isn't very quick but he uses his tank to grind players in to the ground and occasionally picks up large stats. Would be a better option for CHF than Dawes, at the least. A poor man's Tom Lynch.
  2. Jake Lloyd would make sense. Outside mid with some speed and a great kick. Roos got in hot water with the Swans for trying to steal him before.
  3. Harley Bennell has kicked 6 goals in a game before (from midfield). Nobody on our list has done that. He has speed and skill, which we lack. He is a match winner, which we lack. He has confidence, which we lack. He is worth the punt when we have people like Neville Jetta to mentor him.
  4. I couldn't handle seeing his name spelled wrong on here every night for another 7 or 8 years, to be honest.
  5. Seems to just be a good kick and nothing else
  6. I'd love him but what if he has 2 strikes?
  7. Blease kicked 5 goals in a game once.....
  8. Much prefer Nathan Wilson, Zac Williams, Curtly Hampton, Trent McKenzie, Paul Seedsman, Aaron Mullett, Tom Cutler, etc.
  9. Would be a good replacement for Cross at half back. Great overhead and good footskills.
  10. Nobody has matched a rival club's RFA offer and I doubt Adelaide will be able to pay him anywhere near what Geelong/whoever will offer.
  11. Never mind the fact that Geelong can have him for free
  12. We'll have a hard time replacing him. He's been so important.
  13. Adding people like Cross and Lumumba keeps our head above water while we develop young players and has a positive effect on culture.
  14. Why do you say that, Jack? He is what we need and he is out of contract and knows he is about 10th in line to the GC midfield when all are fit. http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-premiership/gold-coast-suns-facing-salary-cap-issue-with-three-key-players-out-of-contract/story-e6frf3e3-1227497014503
  15. Tom Lynch is the perfect kind of player to get the best out of Hoges. He is the lmarking ink man that will allow Hogan to stay deep and will take a good defender out of the backline.
  16. I have never understood the anti-Garland sentiment around here. He is an introvert and not a leader but he is a damn fine player. As I have posted before, how many backs in the league can play on talls, small forwards and resting mids? Anyone who thinks Lumumba has had a better year than Garland is dreaming. Get serious. Now.
  17. Aaron Hall is definitely someone we should be targeting. He is a serious talent with speed, skill and he kicks goals. He hasn't shown much at AFL level until the last few weeks because he has been played in the forward pocket due to Ablett, Prestia, Swallow, O'Meara, etc. Now that he is playing as a mid, he has been exceptional. He wouldn't cost the world and has huge upside. We must go after him.
  18. Much prefer Nathan Wilson and Zac Williams as cheap options. Electric pace and great skills.
  19. Quality player being kept out of a great team. Must be a target for us.
  20. INS: Newton, Salem, Stretch OUTS: Jetta, Bail, M. Jones I like these ins. Much needed class and skill.
  21. The supposed weak draft will contribute to Carlton overvaluing the draft pick value of their players
