  1. Jack's foot is tracking well according to Misson's injury report on the MFC site
  2. I think he could be our Beau Waters.
  3. Fitzy is too good at being where the ball aint to be a forward. Backline is the last chance and he would know it. Now or never.
  4. We should go after Tom Nicholls if he can't usurp Zac Smith this year. They are both guns and there isn't room for both.
  5. Matt Jones is our only midfielder with any speed. Until Kent and Stretch can take over, we pretty much need him for team balance.
  6. A welcome bit of versatility. Height, speed, size, skills, composure, defensive ability.
  7. I really liked Hogan's inside 50s
  8. The Hunter has now become the hunted..... The apple doesn't fall far from the tree
  9. If Tom McDonald's Nab Challenge stats are compared to 2014 AFL Premiership season stats, he would be: - In the top 10 for marks in the league - Top 20 for rebound 50s in the league - Top 15 for one percenters in the league - Top 50 for disposal efficiency in the league They are ridiculous stats for a key defender. This is with a reduced-time format as well.
  10. National Draft Pick #1 2015
  11. Good comparison with Aish. Toumpas and Aish are almost identical with what they bring to the table. Similar size, both big tanks and neat kicks with limited speed, not ferocious in and under players and both excelled at senior level in the SANFL. The two main differences I can see are: - Toumpas has had severe injury interruptions (hips and appendix), whereas Aish has had a relatively clean run at it - Aish has an excellent midfield to both support him on-field and teach off-field (Rockliff, Redden, Hanley, Rich, Leuey, Martin, Taylor, etc). Toumpas hasn't had this For these reasons, I think it's still possible for Toumpas to reach a level of output similar to Aish in the next couple of years.
  12. Kent Michie Toumpas
  13. Watts would have made a big difference tonight. We missed his kicking.
  14. Toumpas worked his way in to it well after a disappointing start
  15. The public hanging of Damian Barrett would be the best half-time entertainment.

  17. but way too many people who come on here to critique others posts and not interested in discussing the dees
  18. There is a difference between hypertrophy training and strength training. Tappysquads attacked a poster despite being misinformed.
  19. You said 'Come back with the biggest legs you've ever seen', fwit. Hypertrophy is not strength. You're out of your depth. No more sarcasm out of you, thanks.
  20. West Coast, Saints, Carlton, Bulldogs bottom 4. Dees, Pies, GWS, Brisbane 11-14.
  21. Pedersen is a serviceable 2nd ruck so Dawes won't be competing with him for a spot, in my opinion.
  22. "There have been exceptions. In the late 1980s we had two players at Melbourne - Stephen Clark and Jamie Duursma - who played again in the same season they injured their cruciates. More recently, Tony Liberatore returned after his second knee reconstruction 18 weeks after surgery. This is the standard length of time for return to sport in the US and Europe." - http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2003/04/20/1050777166204.html
