All of the above and the AFL to step in say that NO CLUB can poach a player until he has at least 5 years with his club that first signed him unless they cannot mutually agree. And that NO PLAYER can gain greater incentives than $500,000 per year until they have played at least 100 games..

With the internal fighting going on within the Kanga's football club,I hope this turns into an inferno. As I think the Kangas will be our major stumbling block for a premiership over the next few years.

I think you have touched on some nerves here. We may even have to create a cookie jar fund just to keep the AFL gurus to stop poaching our list via the new clubs.Or maybe to appeal to Mr Gutnick or the like to set up a situation similar to the late Richard Pratt at Visyboard.

Having a look at my best 22(team selection) I have realised that 8 players did not strip for the NAB cup. Now that really excites me: They are- James Frawley (pectoral muscle), 7/8 WEEKS Nathan Jones (back soreness), -2/3 weeks Jordie McKenzie (groin soreness),- 2/3 weeks Cale Morton (finger) 7/8 WEEKS Ricky Petterd (hamstring) 2/3 weeks Matthew Warnock (ankle) will miss through injury.- 2/3 weeks Tom Scully- TBC Austin Wonaeamirri -TBC. That to me is unbelievable along with winning twice in Adelaide on the same night. GO DEES.

Good summation on both Bate and Cook. Also thought Tom McDonald showed something, but the recruit who impressed me the most was Evans.

Keeps on improving.A couple of more pre seasons and WOW- look at what has happened to Chip after a couple of good pre seasons. A definate star in the making.

Maybe so- re the SEN commentary, however listening to Russell on Foxtel was just down right woeful. I think everone was rusty tonight, although I thought the umpiring was quite good. Great effort by our players to get through. I agree re pressure for spots to play.Great to have that position.

A good read - I watched the players from Casey play in the practice match last week was impressed.I thought Purves could really develop as a player.
