  1. Cook from Geelong hasn't done a bad job either in delivered/communicated .I'd say at least an equal if not better than Cam.
  2. OMR- you will need to keep rolling on as Sloane will star this year. You will regret big time that you made that post. And to offer Now if anybody is interested in : Richard Tambling ©, Danyle Pearce ©, Josh Hill (F) or John Anthony (F)is an insult compared to Sloane.
  3. I am interested in trades- Sloane of Adelaide may be an interest to some. I think he should be in for a good year, finished off 2010 very nicely. Offers please.
  4. I have Brad Ottens on my list- chosen as a back up ruckman whom I can still utilize as a forward. If I place him as a forward in my team does his ruckwork count as a statistic?. Please advise and thank you.
  5. Before we trade can someone whom has played this game before explain how the scoring is done.Is a forward an extremely important tool. Re does a goal turn out to be 6 pints or the like.Someone explain how the game works before we start trading please.
  6. I'd consider trading as a safe guard- His knee maybe worse than first thought and he may have played his last game already?
  7. Have I got this right. The name of the game here is a coach has 11 players- 3 Backs, 3 Centres, 3 forwards,1 ruckman & 1 utility.Does the utility score as well as the other 10.? The team in total need to combine in stats to be the winning team. Well why is a forward kicking goals that important- the team does not get added points for that- does he. It is a forward that gets most kicks, handballs, tackles that gets the stats up- Correct again - or have like usual missed the plot. Why would Brown be more important that Boyd? Please advise? My list is . Round Pick Player Team Position. 1 (9) Darren Jolly CW R 2 (24) Steve Johnson GE F 3 (41) Sam Mitchell HW C 4 (56) Kane Cornes PA C 5 (73) Michael Rischitelli GC C 6 (88) Brent Stanton ES C 7 (105) Darren Milburn GE B 8 (120) Andrew Embley WC C,F 9 (137) Jarrad Grant WB F 10 (152) Brent Guerra HW B 11 (169) Nathan Lovett-Murray ES B,C 12 (184) Luke Power BL C 13 (201) Grant Birchall HW B 14 (216) Brent Macaffer CW F 15 (233) Brad Ottens GE R,F 16 (248) Ben Johnson CW B,C 17 (265) Rory Sloane AD C 18 (280) Matthew Bate ME F 19 (297) Ryan Houlihan CA F 20 (312) Sam Wright KA B,C 21 (329) Josh Hunt GE B which allowing for my stuff up in first two rounds the list has come good somewhat -however awaiting a hiding from HW. Able to ruck: Jolly,Ottens Centres: Mitchell,.Cornes,Rischitelli,Stanton,Embley,Lovett-Murray,Power,Ben Johnson,Sloane,Wright. Backs-Milburn,Guerra,Lovett- Murray,Power,Birchall,Johnson, Wright, Hunt. Forwards- Johnson,Embley,Grant, Macaffer, Ottens,Bate,Houlihan, Overall I feel I was able to come up with a steady list whom none are world beaters but good solid contributors whom I will be able to cover injury, byes etc..and still be willing to give some others a run for their money.I also think, all rounders that are interchangable is very important. My best buy Luke Power at 184 whom hopefully will cover the early issue in draft selection. A great job by JA and all coaches have done extremely well with their selections
  8. I agree ,maybe- Frawley and Watts in the backline- Garland to the forward line?
  9. I hope he doesn't say he has done his knee and therefore has played his last match for the Dees- now that would be disastrous and no hope of reaching 40000 members..
  10. agree- for next year however you have done a wonderful job- congrats-I'm buggered.
  11. You done very well with your list- congrats..Now, re the Bench list- is it we still have to pick, C, B, F, R, U or just the best 5 players we think are left..please advise..as I may not be able to make it tomorrow night- maybe in the air --may have to make auto..-a reply would be great from someone please. Thanks
  12. 1 minute if you like- no 5 is right.Go for it JA
  13. Thanks mate- you have done a stirling job but I think I have sung Silent night 30 times whilst waiting for my pick and I am still goin. Next year hey? Well done my friend -excellent job. Can we switch to 5 minutes tomorrow-I will be in Manila- dreaming about the slaughter by High Tower in the opening game. If we didn't have the auto for SO LONG we would be marching through. What does others think?
  14. Correct-Akermanis told Royal and West whom both was at Visy Oval watching the Bulldogs last Saturday that Fevola was being pushed towards Casey or Coburg.
  15. Please answer my question re the team and how do I pick manually. I was on some automatic if ranks thing last night-if I want to switch to manual-does that mean I just put the players name in and it will take that player? Next year I suggest we make the time limit on drafting to 5 minutes. Would then get it over with in two nights.Great game and thanks JA.
  16. THKS JA- INTO THE SWING OF THINGS..NOW.
  17. Need help seriously re this game. How I have read it we pick 11 players. 3 back, 3 forward, 1 ruckman 3 centres and a utility. These make up the team of 11 players. We then have 5 emergencies and 5 more on the bench -whom we can rotate etc..trade draft etc -Is that correct? PLEASE ADVISE-THANKS
  18. You haven't done too badly yourself- Range Rover and you will give him a run for his money. I will go for the wooden spoon and extra draft picks for next year.
  19. I wasn't online- I am in Malaysia- I notified Jack Attack whom suggested I come online at 6pm. I had done a rough draft pick- just highlighting some of the players whom I was interested in .When I came on at 5.59 my picks wee done 2 of them. Auto something- then I realised what had happened. You have developed a good list- but I can assure you I would not have picked Jolly 1st up- would have been 3rd or 4th pick. That's lfe but hurry up tonight.Your first pick should take no more than a second.O well good luck to ya- I will know better next year. I can tell ya - it is frustrating when one takes so long. It is nearly the end of the earth.
  20. Gee I know it is a sleepy hole up in Canberra- no wonder you take so long to pick.I'm in Malaysia and it took me one second- instantaneously.
  21. Therefore-Why would you want extra time.I had a pick within a second each time. All be it- I stuffed up the whole thing.JA told me to get on at 6 Melbourne time. Did not understand how to operate it. Didn't realise phantom draft was an accurate thing.O well. Least got a pick. But definately would not have taken Jolly, first up.
  22. And the other thing is Woodman-Casey's GM would have had to get MFC permission whom in turn would have had to get the AFL's OK. Got it.?
  23. I strongly disagree- with the AFL (Andrew Demetriou) strongly encouraging him to play VFL ffotball, and willing to help and support him, Casey already offering him a jumper ,then all we would have to do is sit back and see how he performs personally and on the park. A no brainer as far as I'm concerned with Jimmy already tweeting him as soon as a day after his last operation wishing himthe best as another factor .We have had several drinking and gambling issues with players over the recent times(last 5/7 years) so we could really hone in and help him to help us.
  24. Ialso think this is definately part of his problem. He has bulked up that much that I feel he thinks he is superman, can shrug off an oppnent at will, then he gets caught an looses the ball. Also his kicking it no no where to no body-lost his precision kicking. Too slow as a back pocket as my friend Deeluded suggested in another thread. He just has to precisionm kick again as per George on the outer suggested. Kick long and accurarely as soon as he gets the ball should be his instructrions as he can get the pill no doubt about that.If not a roleat Casey to regain his skills.
