I just slammed the chair in front of me so hard I think i broke my hand...

50 penalty aside, Jetta should nevet have been on him. Period.
-
Gee we're inefficient going forward.
-
We look to be in second gear. Brisbane have controlled most of the game and seem more likely to score than we do. Once again we break down badly across half forward. For every 1 Tyson clanger we have a Stretch clanger.

No there isn't.

I hate to say it but you have raised what we delusional supporters call seguire la corrente", or, "He who follows the current.

Why is the Collingwood one a duck?

How many current and past players read/post on Demonland?

That's right. Made one or two vague responses and then when someone challenged him he disappeared. Must have been busy making those Whiteboard Wednesday videos.... -

I am certain that Cameron Schwab came on here sometime between 2008-2012 and responded to queries and criticisms about how the club was being managed. In a very defensive manner. -
They do this on the big screen at home games after a win. A nice touch imo.

Someone's been in a relationship since their teens

He wasn't kicking goals but broadly I agree. Our record with him was good and our forward half pressure dropped off in the few weeks after he was dropped. We needed him against North. May not have made the difference but we needed some buggy niggling in the forward half.

Imo Oliver is more likely to make 22 than Hibberd. His stats are...unprecedented.

Karma I guess for screwing over Freo wih White, and exceeding the salary cap in the process.

I think that given what he reportedly experienced in his later years at the Crows, he went in a different direction because he knew how tough micromanaging can be on a coach especially a new one. Problem was he didnt appear to find a middle ground and you ended up with Neeld who was in over his head. The entire department was a wreck, which we all know too well. Craig may not have been the cause but he was part of the problem, albeit perhaps unintentionally.

Doubt Hogan will play. Viney has been on crutches after every game since he came back and there's been a news report about him "being in doubt" each time bar last week vs GWS.
-
Oppo fans loudly proclaim he's overrated which generally means he's hated which means he'snow officially a star of the game. Once he gets respect, he's a HOF.

Saints supporters around me were getting stuck into Max as well as myself and any Demons supporters having a go at the umps. One beast of a Saints supporter who looked straight out of a Steve King novel tried to explain that you can't use an arm to push off...within a matter of seconds along the AFL Members wing at a throw in, Saints had 3 men up at the throw in, and Max was blatantly pushed off the contest. We won the clearance but Max threw his arms up demanding accountability. We went forward minutes later and Hannan kicked the sealer and I got right stuck into the Bogans around me. The third quarter leading up to that moment was an abhorrent umpiring display. It didn't improve much in the 4th leading up to this exact moment even if we did start getting some calls.

Surprised anyway has played that game long enough to get to the Grand Final.

WHO ARE THE TOP SIX SPEEDSTERS IN OUR TEAM?
praha replied to Bobby McKenzie's topic in Melbourne Demons
Important to differentiate between top speed, pace, and quickness. Petracca has insane closing speed but isn't quick off the mark, whereas Hunt is a bullet off the mark but is often caught up in closing speed over distances. Same goes for Frost although he's a horse who can gallop away with sheer force. Maximum speed is a useless stat bevause most players over a distance can get up to a good high speed. -
You sure you're not thinking about the 2015 game? Where we couldn't score in the second half? Last year's game saw us double the lead to 10 goals in the second half. It was a fun game.

Whenever he's near the ball we tend to win the stoppage. His body work is amazing and he demands at least 2 opposition players at a pack. He's not winning much of the ball but he's playing a bull roll and attracting the attention of defenders more often than not. Saints were overly cautious of him and it opened up ANB and Harmes quite a bit. They also respected Hannan a lot and seemed to smother him.

Weideman, Garlett and Trac our three lowest ranked players on the day. That's half our forward line. Throw in Watts, Salem, Hogan not playing. We've been hit much harder by injuries, personal issues and poor form than the Bulldogs did last year. Not saying we'll win the flag but we're still playing with one of the least experienced sides in the comp and we've responded when we've needed to. I thought the Saints would run over us they way they played in the 3rd. Sometimes there are no surprises with this team like when we lost to North. But there has been equal number of surprises the other way. If we could get some frigging luck our way and get a run like Port has with injuries then we really could beat anyone. They've barely had an injury this year and can't beat a top 8 side. Would still be a massive disappointment if we miss finals but it's been a character building season for this team, no doubt. They have to take confidence from yesterday. They just have to. Imagine if Trac and Garlett had on days?

Why are you dumping Vince?
