  1. Cam Schwab on twitter just said Liam's shoulder popped out but went back in. Wait on scans. Bell dislocated A/C - in trouble
  2. Will you be out at Casey on Saturday 13th?
  3. Still listing Jurrah as No 48. Robbo handed over the 24 jumper at the Best & Fairest last year.
  4. Looks much better with the extra Red. Thanks for all the time & effort.
  5. I too have fantastic memories of that first game. It was a game that will forever be remembered. Saw doggie at the "G" last year with 2 of his boys.
  6. I bought 4 packets. Sending to all my friends as we speak. My real friends will know where I am coming from - Demons Tragic - no matter who they support. I hope they will all display them - even the Pies relatives.
  7. There is usually compensation paid to the home club
  8. This Sunday night at 6.30pm on Channel 7 Tim Watson will be reporting on his trip to Yuendumu with Jim Stynes.
  9. Highgate Reserve in Craigieburn - soon to be Richmond's summer training ground
  10. Get off Robbo's back. He loves this club so much and because of that he is taking it really hard. Sometimes we say things we don't really mean when we are hurt and we hurt the one's we love most. Give him a break. He will always love Melbourne.
  11. Brock McLean was not present on the night and was not mentioned at all - apart from Beamers comment. Simon Buckley was not there either. It seems to be a regular occurrence for the winner of the Best Player in seconds (or now in VFL affiliate side) is a guarantee of getting delisted.
  12. I think it is 2 games in 3 years - total 2 NOT 2 for 3 years - total 6.
  13. Pies game would have to be away game as we always have them at home on Queens Birthday.
  14. Keep the 48 for mine. It already has such a rich history. Who can forget the power that was energised to purchase that jumper to send to Yuendumu.
  15. Tridents have a choice of N52 - N54 on Level 2 Northern Stand or N15 - N9 on level 2 Southern stand. Presidents I am not sure but probably the same with a few extra benefits. Tridents can bring guests guest pass $17.00 plus admission) but as you have a reserved seat - no seat for guests. Guests can sit Level 2A in Southern Stand or N56 in Northern stand or view from Hasset room. Not sure about Presidents.
  16. Ring the Club Rang yesterday to enquire about changing seats and before I got off the phone had renewed 2 Tridents memberships.
  17. My guess would be as it was pretty obvious early in the season we wouldn't be playing in September, it was scheduled for after the boys came back from their 6 week break so that they could get away for 6 weeks and not have to schedule their trips around the B & F. Only 1 week until training starts again.
  18. Haven't been for a few years. I am going this year though. Meals & drinks provided. Usually have a count down of votes. Usually get a highlights reel of those in contention. WILL Brock McLean be there??????????
  19. As long as it doesn't have a round neck like Carlton (the worst) & Pies.
  20. It was for 4 in a row - but had we won that one and because we won the next 2 - we could have had 6 in a row.
  21. Trident members have the option of Reserved seating in Bays N13 - N9 in Southern Stand or N52 - N48 in Olympic Stand. Members only. Seats in the Olympic stand are meant to be under cover but as the roof is so high up it depends which way the rain is coming. Bar behind the seats - standing area from which quite a few watch game outside the window. Next to the room where the President's lunch is held. Players sit in N 53. Seats in Southern Stand from Row 5 back are guaranteed to be dry. Meal & drinks are available in the Hassett Room pre game. This year there was often a director to speak to members at half time. Usually 3 players (who did not play in the days game) who come back to the room. They are interviewed by Mike Anderson (the host) sign a few autographs & leave. All over by 5,30 but a good atmosphere. Car park is clear or walk to the station not so crowded. Look forward to seeing you there.
  22. Wheels without question. But now that he has gone I have a soft spot for Jamar.
  23. Jim escorted K Rudd to Kinglake Grand Final. David Schwarze addressed the players before the game. MFC cheersquad made the banner for Kinglake. Jim's No 37 jumper featured on the banner. Kinglake lost by 2 goals but won in community support.
  24. I have an original framed photo of 1957 playing list and officials with names of all in photo hand written in decorative script - in original frame. Was presented to my Grandfather by Norm Smith. I have a framed copy of 1956 team & officials which has been signed by 11 of the surviving players from Premiership side. Bought at MFC auction. I also have a page of autographs from MFC 2nd XVIII team - year unknown (possibly 1938)- which includes:- Keith Truscott, Richie Emselle, Syd Anderson, Jack Furniss, Jack Coolaman, Jack Bennett, Fred Backaway, Beres Reilly, Ted Regan, John Maher, Bill Adams. Given to me by a Tigers supporter many years ago.
  25. From Birth. Grandparents had a hotel in Victoria Parade and used to board a lot of young players from the country - Stuart Spencer and others. Celebrated my First birthday with Norm Smith (& son Peter) and Jack Mueller in the birthday photo.
