  1. Brad Miller - Respect, Passion, Mateship Congratulations Millsy - what a true champion. Always gave his best wherever he was playing. A true leader. Good luck for whatever you do in the future.
  2. An extra 16,000 tickets will be available to club members. Originally each of the 16 clubs was allocated 1,000 tickets each. These will go into the general ticket pool this time. Not sure how they will be divided between the 2 clubs - probably in the same proportions as before.
  3. Judd barracked for Melbourne. Jim & Garry 2 favourite players. Still chose Carlton over us. Lets get that Premiership. That's what counts.
  4. Introducing the two favourites at the start was always fraught with danger. I didn't like it one bit.
  5. The Best & Fairest is the Keith "Bluey" Truscott trophy - so what has the Barassi family got to do with it? Leave the existing trophies as they are. They are all named after people who died during the war. Truscott, Barassi Snr. Ball, Anderson, Create something new or perhaps the "Heart & Soul" award could be renamed the "Jim Stynes Heart & Soul" Award.
  6. Video (available from Demons Shop) has an extra 70 minutes on it.
  7. Yes - the DEES made a couple of appearances in that promo. Great to see.
  8. MFC have tickets for sale which include brunch at the Grand Hyatt. $1275 for standard seats & $1325 for prime seat. Click on link for details. Grand Final tix
  9. Coming from QLD and a competition that was not the same standard as those in other states - he was recruited because of his leadership potential. In that regard he is a champion. Unfortunately for whatever reason, he was not able to reach the standard required. Maybe the expectation, re improvement of skills, was too high when drafted. A great guy with a lot of integrity. I wish him good luck with whatever he chooses to do in the future.
  10. Melbourne Footy Club is taking pre orders now. Order Now Extra 70 mins of footage on the DVD. All proceeds to Reach.
  11. You are right. Liam gets the $9,000 Panasonic & the $2.500 fuel. Well done Liam.
  12. I agree. It was obvious he was in trouble with his shoulder but they just kept sending/letting him back out.
  13. He was in Melbourne on Monday night for the All Australian night!! Possibly still here.
  14. Congratulations to Chipper & Mark Jamar. Bad luck Greeny. Congratulations also to Liam Jurrah. Well done all four boys.
  15. I think the award is voted on by the 5 members of the All Australian Panel. Liam wins a medal. Those who voted for Liam have the chance of winning some petrol. Hope it is one of us.
  16. Just saw a promo for A Current Affair. Jim Stynes to be on with Tracey Grimshaw tomorrow night - Tuesday 14th @ 6.30pm
  17. Jules Lund's thoughts on the doco Reach. Sounds like I might need 2 boxes tissues.
  18. Jack Grimes has just got himself into the Grand Final of the Sunday Footy Show Handball competition beating Jake Melksham 74 - 73
  19. Nothing wrong with Lauren - a lovely girl - Just that photographers can't see anyone else when she is around.
  20. Voted - but Tom needs ALL our help to get over the line. We need to see someone other than Garry Ablett & Lauren Phillips in the papers.
  21. I think I'll need to have the tissues handy.
  22. Nothing can happen before November 1st. AFL/Clubs year ends on 31st October. Existing logo, jumper etc are licensed with AFL until 31st October. From 1st November new emblem / gear can then be licensed. Cannot then be changed for 2 years. That is why we could not change our clash jumper. A special exemption was made for the much hated silver guernsey.
