I have a 16 game membership. I knocked off work half an hour early so I could get there early to get a good seat. Arrived at 5.20 before the gates opened. I presented my membership ticket to get seats - no options offered - handed 2 seats in Row W (Second row from back Level 3). Friend booked hers earlier in the week so she wouldn't have to queue. She got Row X - back row. I was so angry. Could not enjoy the night at all.

I was very disappointed in the crowd. Considering Hawks have 50,000 members and Dees have 30,000 a crowd of 39.000 is less than 50%. I think the AFL has to have a look at the 4.40 start. Even 4.00pm would be better. Definitely more Hawks supporters but I think our turnout wasn't too bad. I was in Ponsford stand.

I have seen a few "Mixed marriages" at games. There is a "Senior" lady at the game each week that wears a scarf that is red & blue on one side and black & white on the other side. Is a premium member at Melbourne. Met a couple at Docklands one day. He was Demons supporter she was Hawks. Even though we were playing another team she was all dolled up in her Hawks gear. They go to each others games unless there is a clash when they go their seperate ways. Also a West Coast supporter who is a premium Melbourne member - wears her Melbourne gear except when we play West Coast when she sits with all her blue & yellow gear.

My partner was a Saints Supporter. Once I stopped working Saturdays and was able to go to games every week - he either came with me or stayed home alone. Been a demon supporter & member for last 20 years

You can get Saturday tickets for $3.00 - Must buy 5 trips for $15.00 As a premium member with a reserved seat on L2 at MCG you can lay odds we will only get a "reserved area" on L1 at Docklands and not Premium L2 seats. If every reserved seat member gets an equivalent reserved seat I don't have a problem but history says it aint gonna happen.
