It is excruciatingly painful. His/their (Spencer also has same problem) AFL career/s would not be jeopardised just managed in a different way.

Unless you have confirmed information dont print it here. I dont know about Buckley but I do know that Chris Johnson was asked three times over a space of time whether he wanted to play with MFC and each time he couldnt answer and said that he would have to ask his Dad. After the third time Dean told him that if he didnt know then it probably means that his heart wasnt with the Club. Dean doesnt have a problem with any of the players. He is a very open and approachable person. If a player like Morton feels that he knows more than the coaches his game is never going to improve. Until Cale accepts there are flaws to his game he should stay with Scorpions and learn some discipline. Can anyone confirm why he didn't play at the Scorps on Saturday. As far as Bate before Miller. Did you see the game on Saturday. Bate could hardly get out of his own way. Miller's kicking was very good with only a couple of strays and his marking was characteristically strong. I agree that Watt improved in the last quarter but there was an incident just in front of the race in the third quarter where he shirked a confrontation. There was another Melbourne player there and he let him go in. It was disappointing but I still feel with a hard preseason he will be more confident in the packs. Again he did not give up the chase. My worry was Garland. He let his player run off him a couple of times.I don't know about his kickouts. They make me nervous. I think Joel McDonald came off injured does anyone know what was the injury. Both Tapscott and Blease showed some form at the Scorps. Great for Blease's confidence and I would hope that with another good performance next weekend that Tapscott will play at Port Adelaide in front of all his family.

Did anyone see Colin Garland limping badly in the warm down video on the MFC site. Did anyone in Brisbane notice this after the game. Also heard from a Melbourne based supporter who went to the game in Brisbane that he was really impressed by the Queensland supporter base and the noise that they made. He said that he had never heard anything like it. Well done.

Have heard that his problems are mental and that he lacks absolute confidence in his leg that was broken. I agree with a full preseason he will hopefully overcome any issues that he unfortunately has.

Bhima, I think the boys refer to themselves this way so I am sure no offence would be taken, at least by them.

I am thinking of driving over to Adelaide to support the boys against Port Adelaide. Is the Club able to organise tickets in a specific area where all Melbourne supporters can go instead of sitting out with the ferals. Does anyone know and is anyone else thiking of going. It would be great if we could get a convoy of Melbourne supporters on the road to make a bit of noise for the team.

Collingwood v Casey Scorpions
Longsufferingnomore replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think David King after the game at the MCG mentioned Tapscott as one to watch and waiting in the wings to have a game in the "Seniors" -
Can anyone tell me where I can find Casey Radio. I know it is AM but what is its call number or whatever they call it. I cant make the game and I am really interested to listen to it.

Agree it does no good as to individualise blame. They were all to blame for the first two quarters. Absolutely no one put their hand up to take on the game but they all certainly did in the third quarter. Last year we would have been beaten by 100pts this year we took it up them and wiped the silly smirks of their faces. So lets remain positive about the improvements that have been made. There are too many negative threads posted here sometimes and thats not looking through rose coloured glasses. Lets improve gradually or we can do an Essendon. Who expected to be in the eight. We Im sure just wanted to see improvement and for mine we have done just that. It is frustrating because standing/sitting in our loungerooms we can see that we are just not quite there yet but from where we have come we are so close to our destiny. Remember we have a hard second half of the draw and the time for retribution/acclaim will be at the end of the season when we can all see how far we have actually come. I think we lose sight of the fact that we are "supporters" of the mighty Dees so lets support them instead of continually knocking them or looking for the negatives.

Just read mfc site and it said beamer had a "badly" corked thigh. I hate to say it but I think we can count him out for next week.

Agreed all day/night I was yelling for someone to shepherd. It is a team essential to back/assist your teammate but they seem to be so focused on their own man that the "team" efforts are forgotten. The same with gang tackling. When we are good you see the two, three players tackling instead of leaving it to a single player.

This would make his playing next game unlikely

Demonland Prediction of the Week
Longsufferingnomore replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Junior to again lead our team -
There was an interesting point yesterday when PJ went up in the ruck but it was actually Col who punched the ball away. Leave PJ in because he does provide another tall and I think Jamar was better for having the longer breaks yesterday. Cheney was in my opinion almost useless. He had a couple of tackles but that was it. I would prefer that Joel Mac stays. He just seems to have the football nous that Cheney doesnt have. If Junior is fit why wouldnt you play him at Subiaco. He is our leader and if fit should play. (Listening to him yesterday on the radio it would seem that he is playing on next year.) In: Bail, Junior Mc, Out: Cheney and ????

We've been waiting a while for the umpires to give us a break for once. Those 50m penalties were all (well most of them) there and were a result of ill discipline by the bomber players. It was nice watching them all leaving at the start of fourth quarter.

No, I'm happy to donate on the site but I saw the IMG logo and I just wasnt sure so I will be donating straight away. If every member donated $25 we would have this thing licked. Give what you can because if we can get rid of this this month what a a great boost it will be to Jimmy.
