  1. 3 or 7 (both are fresh, and look good, plus they will be relevant for many years to come), 12 still has Sylvia's shadow cast on it, and plus most expensive and more of a hassle to get two digits. Then again, I'm not big on getting them, I wear a plain guernsey and only wore 5 for Schwarz when I was really young
  2. I can't believe so many people underestimated what he could do in his first year, but seriously what a confident and skilled player he is. The best thing is how he is being backed and staying in the team with Kennedy-Harris, hope they both stay in the team for the rest of the year. We've finally found a couple of good young players who are seriously in the top bunch, if neither get a nomination it's a joke. It'll be our best year for new players since Scully and Trengove, and I guess that was expected because they were 1&2 (I won't talk about how it turned out afterward)
  3. Nothing to worry about. It's just like any other game, you can sit in the seats listed when you scan in
  4. His defensive efforts have been what has made him so reliable, up until recently his kicking in/decision making was disappointing, but I've noticed more confidence in the past few weeks.
  5. He gets a lot of unwarranted criticism. I think he's developed into a decent ruckman. His tapwork, endurance and hardness have definitely improved, his kicking slightly too. To see him be in so many contests V Carlton was impressive. Jamar would've done better v Mumford against GWS, but then again it's hard to know if Jamar's up to it this season. He's not consistent yet, but Spencer's played some decent games in the past year. It's definitely make or break for Spence, I mean it's quite impressive he's even made it through the sackings and the rebuilds. Inexperience can't be an excuse now though since it's his 6th year and he's 24 (but he's never played more than 8 games in a season)
  6. These players just don't know how to play for each other (and barely for themselves). Our past few years, coach change, huge personnel change, structure change, different game plans have turned players into numb objects who lack trust and don't know what to believe. It's like they've been largely removed from the goal of winning footy games due to the culture around them. They lack creativity, enjoyment. irrespective of skill, many of these players aren't inspired enough to play the game at the elite level, or at least with this team at this club. I'm not sure if it's about a competitive 'on and off switch' anymore. There's been plenty of bad luck, bad choices off the field, but to see a culture of a team on the field like ours is the worst part.
  7. We could score a lot more if we changed our mindset, stopped trying to pinpoint passes inside 50 to useless targets with pathetic kicking and had more cracks from long range. I know we've been taught a methodical approach, but we just need to try and blaze away and stand out. Just have a crack from long range. Dunn, Jones, Vince especially who are all capable of it but struggle to hit targets close to goal
  8. Well, Neeld didn't drop an under performing Trengove
  9. Agree. Mckenzie's poor kicking isn't as big an issue as say Grimes not being able to kick. His best games have been handball-heavy and we could use his tagging

Emg: Pedo, molester, tree-trunk butter fingers. 11. Frawley and Grimes are barely AFL standard in the sense that they let us down week in, week out but don't have their positions questioned. A few years ago they both had talent and courage to burn. The effort they give with their disposal and their decision making is at times, pitiful. They are meant to be leaders yet neither can properly impact a game or make a bold decision to help us win. About time both of them got off cruise control and did something, seriously. Someone has to lead from the front, it's like they are just waiting until we play good footy again. Lynden Dunn is suddenly fantastic? That's news to me. Sure, he can play on a man and kick a long ball, but he initiates much of our slow play out of defence, and his kick ins provide us with nothing. An example of his poor decision making was on the weekend, he had the ball open in space, but instead of running a full measure and having a long shot at the goals, he does a ridiculous bullet pass to Howe which misses by a mile and goes out on the full. It may be harsh to single out a few players, but our experienced players simply aren't good enough or do anything bold enough to help out the team. You can sense that these players have been told a lot from many different coaches, and had to relearn their approach to footy over and over, but it simply hasn't worked. It's this terrible misunderstanding of footy and submissive thinking that has infiltrated their minds. That they must 'stick to their role' and everything will be ok. Why don't we play kick to kick to limit damage? Happens over and over. That's why you see Vince, Cross and Tyson actually at least taking a couple of risks and playing on.
  12. Pedersen and Fitzpatrick both had shockers last Saturday. One of them in is ok, but I think having both of them as key forwards is too many disasters waiting to happen
  13. Oh my, this is getting funnier by the minute
  14. Anything in triple figures is too much for a new jumper. It's annoying that after all the crap the club and fans have been through they still have to charge exorbitant prices for merchandise. I think a new jumper would be a much nicer prospect if it were $99 or less
  15. 2-3 weeks for Clark is like 7 regular weeks. What's wrong with him anyway, I heard stuff from him ages ago saying that his foot is fine and that he's excited and training hard, yet every time i've been to training he's jogged for 10 mins around the boundary and gone back to the rooms quickly. I only saw him have a couple of shots once. For God's sake, get a footy in his hands and let him practice leads and marks inside 50 or something, get him back into the feel of footy at least
  16. Then we'd have a 4th injured key forward
  17. 2011 was alright. A draw V Sydney and then a 27-point 1st half lead against Hawthorn (before losing by 45), but nevertheless that was a great 1.5 games for the club
  18. Howe has to improve his consistency and reliability. Seems to rely heavily on others and falls out of games when we're behind. Really hope he takes it to another level this year
  19. Hopefully Byrnes isn't mentoring him on how to not care/look like you aren't part of the team
  20. Saying Toumpas will be better than Wines (which multiple people have) is a pretty quick pronouncement
  21. Well considering I can't see into the future, yes, that is what I mean
