  1. To be honest I've grown a thick skin when it comes to crap like that. It's trendy/fashionable to piss on us. We've got years of failure and stuffups to make up for before anyone will start to say anything nice about us. I don't care what people say or think. As long as we start to show some signs of being on the way up, and eventually taste some true success, then what the rest of the world thinks doesn't matter one iota.
  2. I got confused about that too graz, reading the Adelaide BF forum. People were calling him a lazy, useless dud and demanding a second round pick in the same sentence. Which is it? Is he a dud, or is he worth a second round pick?
  3. If that happens it'll be our game's loss IMO. That said, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later with some of the imports.
  4. The right price won't come. I wouldn't take anything less than a top 5 and that won't be offered. He won't be traded.
  5. Anything we get out of Yze in 2008 is a bonus in my eyes. I have no expectations.
  6. I'm leaning towards Jaded and Rhino here. Cousins is a champion player, easily amongst the top 10 players in the comp. They would not let him go without very good reason. I suspect his head is not close to being in the right place at the moment.

    Buckley

F' i'm good, just ask me ? (edit: beaten X2) As I said in another thread, the rationale behind his move to Collingwood was reasonable at the time.
  8. Err? Which of the following would've been a better choice: Peter Curran Paul Williams They were the only choices.
  9. It was a fair rationale at the time. The Bears were an unprofessional rabble.
  10. They could if they didn't mind the fact that nobody would deal with them again for the next 10 years at least. And there'd probably be some kind of binding agreement (unless Carlton are complete idiots), so there'd be legal ramifications. It'd be worth it though IMO. :D
  11. If we've got Holland, Warnock and Miller all on the list then IMO we've got more than enough NQR... sorry... "depth" KPDs on our list without keeping Ferg. Can't see any good reason to keep him.
  12. Knock knock. Who's there? Kanga. Kanga who? Kanga-roo! I made that joke up when I was 4. Apparently I found it absolutely hillarious at the time.
  13. Yessssssssssssss.
  14. It's not true. The person who posted this on 'ology was quite obviously taking the wee. A few on there took the bait too. People never cease to amaze me with their extreme gullibility.
  15. Try reading the post you're responding to next time.
  16. These all sound fairly unlikely. Wonder if the Hawks would take Trav as a straight swap for Roughead. :D
  17. I agree Hards. The top 4 all deserved their names in lights IMO.
  18. It was down for about two hours yesterday morning/afternoon, and for a few hours again last night. Something screwy going on with the server. We're looking in to it.
  19. Double post, locking...

    Outage

Just FWIW the outage wasn't Demonland traffic related. It should cope absolutely fine with anything this site can chuck at it. I still blame Chris Judd though.

    Outage

Sorry about the outage guys. Not sure what happened, the server Demonland lives on barfed. It's been rebooted now, all seems to be well. (Killed over a year of uptime, damnit) I blame Chris Judd.
  22. Yep, me too. That's exactly how I feel too, to the letter.
  23. You're right. It does put everything in to perspective doesn't it.
  24. Depends on your definition of "interesting" really!
  25. No tears here. It'll be disappointing but understandable if he chooses Collingwood. If he chooses Carlton then life will lose all meaning.
